Jake Hackett has returned to The Green Energy Sports Ground until the end of the season on loan.

The 23-year-old started his career with Sunderland before playing 78 times in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division for Whitby.

"I'm buzzing to be back," he stated.

"I really enjoyed my time here in December - the way the gaffers operated and the lads were spot on.

"Even though it was for a short period, I really enjoyed my football here.

"I've settled straight back in since I know the lads already and it's just about carrying on from where I left off.

"The support here at Hebburn is immense - the general feel around the club is really positive.

"It's a big game matchevery game until the end of the season is massive now so it's about building momentum."

First-team manager Daniel Moore also shared his excitement in securing the midfielder's services.

"We're really pleased to bring him in," Moore commented.

"We've had him here before so he knows what we're all about.

"I thought a lot of him before he came here, and he was outstanding during that month.

"He brought something extra to our midfield and he can play in a number of other positions across the pitch.

"I know he wanted to come back to the club and I think it's a good fit for everyone.

"He enjoys it here and we're delighted to have himhopefully he can kick on for the rest of the season.

"He can relax now knowing he's here's until the end of the season - he's chomping at the bit to give it everything he's got."
