Brody Robertson's strike four minutes into the second half was enough to secure all three points on the road for Grimsby Borough against Sheffield at The Home of Football Stadium on Tuesday night. Following a fairly even, goalless first period, Robertson opened the scoring when the striker expertly rounded keeper Gary Stevens to find the back of the net, after being found by Reece York's pass. The visitors had their own goalkeeper, Liam Higton to thank for keeping their lead, when he made a tremendous reflex stop late on, saving a half volley with his left hand when his momentum appeared to be taking him the other way.
Daniel Barrett's side held on to make it eight away games unbeaten.
