I visited with staff to learn more about a new volunteering program, and after visiting a site to see our work in action - knew that we had to share the story. I wrote a media advisory, reached out to my contacts at Kare-11 and we were able to share our story with viewers across the state for a "Cool in School" segment. The video was multi-purposed by publishing it on our website to recruit more volunteers, and shared at the volunteer training sessions so new volunteers could see the program in action.
