You will find Holden’s Gallery nestled in an iconic building which started life in 1907 as Maleny’s first church and it now specialises in picture framing and selling artists’ supplies.
ARTISTS’ MATERIALS Many first-time customers are amazed to find such a comprehensive range of art materials, often making remarks such as, ‘This is the best range of artists’ materials this side of Brisbane,’ or ‘Wow, this is a lolly shop for artists!’ The range includes tube paints in acrylics, oils, water colours and gauche catering both for professional artists and students and sold individually or in sets. We have pastels and pastel paper, calligraphy pens and inks, materials and tools for printmaking, colouring pencils and pens, a large range of brushes. We have a huge range of papers and pads, canvas stretchers, boards and canvas or linen by the metre. We have a wide range of books about art and art techniques and teaching DVD’s as well. We have easels from large studio to portable field and desktop plus stools, storage boxes, palettes and manikins. Come along and enjoy browsing our shelves - you will be pleasantly surprised.
