With many possible FREE funding options available and competitive rates, why not take steps to build a better workforce for the future with us?
FREE Skills Needs Analysis
Do you have skills shortages in your business but are unsure of what training you need or funding you can apply for?
We can help!
Our Skills Needs Analysis is the process of identifying areas for performance improvement and any gaps between the skills your business needs and those your employees have. We can tell you about the options we can offer, funding which may be available, and if we are unable to provide the training you need, we probably know someone who can. By undertaking a more formal Skills Needs Analysis, we can help you to identify exactly what skills you and your staff need to effectively carry out their role and suggest potential training options.
What is your Corporate Social Responsibility plan?
We have many opportunities for businesses to set themselves apart in the market through recognising the importance of social responsibility. Being seen as an employer that is not only helping address some of society’s most critical issues, but who is also enabling employees to play a role, is of real importance to many businesses. Providing opportunities to local young people raises the profile of the company along with many other direct and indirect benefits:

Work Placements
Industry Placements
Work Placements are a way to enhance your workforce with new ideas and a fresh perspective. Students undertaking work experience want the opportunity to develop their skills and bring enthusiasm and increased motivation to your workforce. You may have tasks that you have been unable to complete due to time constraints or workloads, or require help with a project. A Work Placement could be a cost-effective solution to your requirements and is a way to ‘test-run’ the possibility of the student becoming your apprentice or future employee.
For more information, please contact our Work Placements team.
Industry Placements give young people studying towards a T Level technical qualification practical experience directly related to their course - helping develop their technical skills and become more employable. Students spend a minimum of 315 hours (45-50 days on average) with an employer in a role directly relevant to their course. The longer duration ensures students are given sufficient time to master the essentials and that the employer has the opportunity to mould and foster the student’s technical abilities, so they are more likely to add value and make a lasting impact on the business.
We currently offer T Levels in:
• Business
• Computing and Digital
• Construction
• Education & Early Years
• Engineering
• Health
For more information, please contact our Work Placements team.

Our educational visits are a great way to broaden the workplace knowledge of young people and inspire them about different job sectors and roles. You can offer a site visit, be a guest speaker in the classroom, provide a workshop or even an online activity.
Please contact our Work Placements team for more details.
Our Work Based Learning Programmes are for young adults who require a high-level of support to access employment. They include a substantive amount of work placement with one or more local employers. Recruitment Pipeline & Workforce Upskilling
Employer Engagement Meetings
These meetings provide us with an opportunity to understand more about each sector and the skills gaps they are facing. We will listen to key employers and stakeholders to explore ways in which we should be shaping and amending our curriculum to meet employers' needs. Our ultimate aim is to ensure that our students achieve positive destinations, and their qualifications remain relevant for the industries they want to work in. Additionally, we will pursue opportunities for employers to engage with students and tutors regarding career aspirations, and the opportunity to secure work-ready future employees.

I did a one-year placement at Next Distribution Centre doing order picking and housekeeping I had to communicate with people in the warehouse, which helped me to come out of my comfort zone and meet new people It also helped me with my Maths and English and to create a CV and apply for jobs I wouldn’t have been able to get to this stage without the placement and hope to one day get a job in retail or a warehouse”
