HBIU Leison Services for Ghana (through Partnership with) Lavis Lala Foundation founder (Dr. Knight, Ph.D

At HBIUS this is our Core Educational Principle:

Build servants and provide quality educational services.

This Core Principle is guided by a higher purpose: To operate as a faith-based, faith-informed university offering a high-quality educational experience. Harvard, Yale, and Princeton were all established by Christians. They wanted to equip ministers and provide quality education to their students.

Faith-Based

In practice, faith-based education means education that is informed by or based on the principles of one's faith tradition. At HBIUS, we believe that we are called to impact the world through the provision of ministry equipping and professional education. The terms “ministry” and ‘minister” actually mean “to serve and to be a servant." This service included a wide variety of efforts, activities, and practices. We at HBIUS believe that all human professional work should somehow be used for the betterment of humanity. Every profession can and should be a service, informed by faith principles. According to Thessalonians, we are called to work what is good with our hands to have a good public reputation and financial prosperity. This is why training, equipping, and educating professionals is at the heart of our academic practice. The HBIUS curricula and coursework include both faith-related and industry-related knowledge and information. This is the CORE principle in our academic practice.

Professional Service

Our faith teaches that humans are holistic beings. This includes biological, psychological, and spiritual aspects all integrated to form the whole person. This means that faith-based professional service should be holistic in nature. Humans are also designed to be social creatures. Humans created societies and social systems. We at HBIUS believe in the enhancement of human social life through the development of professional service providers trained to provide effective professional service in many sectors of society.

School History (HBIUS).

Founded in 2008 by Dr. Dornett McIntosh, HBIUS emerged from a profound vision and unwavering passion for helping others. When Dr. McIntosh received a financial blessing, she sought to channel that into a mission of empowerment. Initially, her search for a physical space to establish a church proved challenging, yet her commitment to serving the community never wavered. During this time of planning and perseverance, a divine message resonated within her: “You don’t build big buildings; you build great people.” Inspired by this revelation, she dedicated herself to realizing the vision of HBIUS, a university committed to developing servants and providing quality educational services.

Our curricula integrate faith-related and industry-specific knowledge, ensuring our graduates are well-prepared to serve with integrity and purpose. Recognizing that humans are holistic beings comprising biological, psychological, and spiritual dimensions our educational approach emphasizes the interconnectedness of these aspects. We believe in nurturing social creatures who contribute to society through effective professional service. HBIUS is dedicated to enhancing human social life by training professionals across various sectors.

A Graduates of HBIU programs are: Ethically informed and able to:
