THANK YOU To all who give their time and material resources to God’s work here at HDCH, thank you! Directly and indirectly, your giving opens doors for more students to experience an excellent, Christ-centred education at HDCH, where all students are engaged, growing in intellect, skills, and godly character, being connected to their God-given purpose. Our philosophy of education at HDCH is not merely filling a bucket, but lighting a fire: in other words, we’re looking not just to fill students with information, but to inspire transformation. Our project-based pedagogy makes learning deeper by connecting it to needs, problems and opportunities beyond the classroom and school, to be a blessing to our wider communities. Through projects, students have: built planters and benches and “little free libraries” for our neighbours and communities; created mobile apps and works of art for our conservation areas; met with city councils and planners to propose walk trails and development ideas; designed web pages and social media campaigns for Christian missions in various countries; among other examples. Through these experiences, they are learning to discern the brokenness in this world and to connect to God’s redemptive, restorative work, becoming co-labourers with the Spirit, entering fully into meaningful lives of service to God. We see the Spirit at work in our students as they discover and grow their gifts, becoming problem-solvers, creators of beauty, critical thinkers, and carers who love God and love their neighbour. Thank you for your partnership that opens these doors to many more students. We are greatly encouraged by your generous participation with us in this Kingdom work in the lives of our children. We are so grateful for your love and support through your prayers and your giving. Thank you!

#WHYHDCH “My time at HDCH was deeply impactful & equipped me to do so much of what I did in university & what I continue to do in my work today. Thank you for the investment and encouragement each and every one of you gave to me and so many other students - it is deeply appreciated. I’m so grateful for the clear mission of HDCH - to cultivate character through learning for a life of service to God - and am grateful for the ways I watched teachers & administrators live that out, particularly as I reflect on how I should live it out in times like these.” ~ Hannah VanDyk Moerman, Class of 2011
