The Works The works that you have asked to be carried out are: We will carry out the design of the following items as part of the Works: The Contract Price The price for carrying out the Works is £42,064.67.

VAT will be chargeable on the price at the applicable rate. At the current rate of 20%, the VAT chargeable will be £8,412.93, so the total price will be £50,477.60.

An itemised explanation of the Contract Price is included in Appendix 10. The Contract Price is based on the assumptions set out in Appendix 8.

Unless expressly stated in the included itemised explanation, the Contract Price does not include the fees payable for obtaining permissions such as planning permission or building regulation approval, which you will be responsible for obtaining and paying for.

The Contract Price only includes the items listed in the explanation and it may change if you decide to change the works or if the assumptions that we have made are not correct. We will try to let you know in good time if we think that the Contract Price is going to change.

Schedule 4: Notice of Right to Cancel Right to cancel You have a right to cancel this Contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The right to cancel will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the Contract (that is when both parties have signed the contract).

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us at the address given in the form in Schedule 2. You must inform us of your decision to cancel by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the form attached to the Contract in Schedule 2, but you do not have to.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of cancellation If you cancel this Contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you (subject to the following paragraph). We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than: (a) 14 days after we receive back from you any goods that we have supplied; (b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day that you provide evidence that you have returned the goods; or (c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this Contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

If you requested us to be begin the Works during the cancellation period, you shall pay us an amount which represents the value of the services and goods that we have provided at the date when you have communicated to us your cancellation of the Contract.
