Katrina Ferguson found a way to stay at home and make a successful living, too.

K

atrina Ferguson loved being a stay-at-home mom. Girl Scout leader, field trip chaperone...no matter what, she was deeply involved in the activities of her three children.

That all changed when she and her husband separated and he took his sixfigure income with him. Katrina had to return to work right away, not only taking time away from her kids’ activities during the day, but also cutting into her church responsibilities, and her responsibilities as an only child to her mother.

“I actually was working in a law firm 50-60 hours a week trying to make ends meet,” Katrina remembers. “There were times I would take calls from people who needed lawyers and couldn’t afford the high hourly rate.”

Katrina couldn’t afford an attorney’s hourly rate either, so when someone showed her a way to get legal help for a low monthly fee, she immediately signed up.
