Budding engineers and architects can unleash their creativity in this enjoyable after-school club, using Lego, Mobilo, recycled materials and other construction equipment. Children will explore their imagination, develop new skills, and bring their ideas to life. During the summer term, we venture outdoors tocreateonalargerscale.

CODINGFORBEGINNERS

At coding club, children will work on projects using Scratch. They will discover how to use basic coding commands to design games and simple animations withsprites.Theylearntothinkcreatively, work collaboratively, and reason systematically. Coding helps develop perseverance and problem-solving skills, which are valuable throughout the curriculum.

An introduction to Scratch animation on iPads. Scratch is a visual programming language that allows students to create their own interactive stories, games and animations. As students design their Scratch projects, they learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively. The children will explore, learn the fundamentals and designtheirownanimation.

FRENCHCLUB YEARS1&2

Learning about France, the French speaking world and French culture. Introduction to French music, food, games, films, books and festivals with lotsoffunactivities.

Our Modern jazz/street classes incorporate a variety of styles in one class including modern jazz, street dance, contemporary, rock and roll and solo Latin to name but a few. We use a combination of music from the most current tracks to stimulate our dancers to more traditional music depending on style. Students are entered for annual IDTAexams.

A martial art that has for a long time been an Olympic and Paralympic sport or, for many, a way of keeping fit. Through the sessions, Judo skills help to improve an individual's balance, coordination, fitness as well as their self confidence and respect for themselves andotherstoo.

It is an enjoyable way to hone those all important times tables in an arena tailored to each child's strengths and weaknesses. It is never too early to start training for the coveted Inter House TTRockstarsbattle.

Tandridge Golf Club provide indoor and outdoor coaching for the pupils to learn the early stages of golf at school. Using tri-golf equipment, pupils can explore how to swing a golf club, develop the finer points of their grip and aim and learn to control their shots. All sessions are centred around fun games for the children to develop these skills in an enjoyableatmosphere.

We are a high performance gymnastics club that ranges from toddlers, grassroots and national gymnasts. We are here to provide children with the foundations of gymnastics on our stateof-the-art air floor. Over each term we plan to progress your children's learning through fundamental gymnastics skills and strengthening these areas throughouttheyear.

TAEKWONDOYEARS1&2

Taekwondo translates to "The way of the Hand and the Foot" and is a Korean Martial art and Olympic Sport since the Sydney Olympics In 2000. Its roots originate back to Korea and was originally used in the Korean army as a means of self-defence. Pupils will learn basic blocks, hand strikes and kicks, as well as learning basic sparring techniques(nocontact).

Designed to create a fun and enjoyable environment, the sessions are perfect for children to learn without pressure. The main objectives of this programme are to develop motor skills such as coordination, proprioceptive skills and understanding. We also implement behavioural principles of martial arts to nurturedisciplineandfocus.

CodeKidsisateamofengineers,codersand developers with a special interest in handson learning. Our approach is project-based. Our after-school clubs offer immersive, project-based learning through interactive platforms! Children are experts and endusers of Minecraft. They use this passion and interesttolearntocodethegamesthatthey play every day. Minecraft makes coding fun yetmeaningful.Nopriorcodingexperienceis necessary. If your child has been to one of these workshops/clubs before, their learning will be extended further, and we do not repeatthesamecontent.

FUTSAL-YEARS3-8

Finest Futsal Academy was established in 2018 with the goal of giving children the access to play Futsal in the South East of England.

Futsal is designed to allow freedom and skill to shine through for football players young and old. Any pupil interested in a fast and enjoyableactivity,whichinvolvessmallsided games and sessions specifically designed to improve players ball control, vision and passing should look to sign up for this club.

There are fewer players on the pitch, which means more touches per player and lots more involvement. It is played with a ball that’s designed to stay on the ground, which bringswithitafocusondevelopingyourball controlinafastandfunplayingenvironment.
