Classical Ballet forms the basis of all genres of dance and helps to create a strong dancer. We strive to ensure ballet is for everyone, carefully developing strength and flexibility along with encouraging imagination through song with youngerpupils-useofpropsandfreemovement throughout.

Tap is an exciting way of developing rhythm, whilst exploring different musical styles from current pop, swing, Latin rhythms and more traditional tap music. Tap is great for general coordination,fitnessandmemory.

TAEKWONDO

Taekwondotranslatesto"ThewayoftheHandand the Foot" and is a Korean Martial art and Olympic Sport since the Sydney Olympics In 2000. Its roots originate back to Korea and was originally used in the Korean army as a means of self-defence. Pupilswilllearnbasicblocks,handstrikesandkicks, as well as learning basic sparring techniques (no contact).

Designed to create a fun and enjoyable environment, the sessions are perfect for children to learn without pressure. The main objectives of thisprogrammearetodevelopmotorskillssuchas coordination, proprioceptive skills and understanding. We also implement behavioural principles of martial arts to nurture discipline and focus.
