CPR CERTIFICATION

MI HEARTSafe School certification shows that schools have met standards to protect students and staff by rapidly responding to a cardiac arrest. Becoming a MI HEARTSafe school prepares Hazel Park Schools to better handle cardiac arrest emergencies at school and during after-school activities. Hazel Park Schools has a cardiac emergency response plan in place, which is one requirement in becoming a MI HEARTSafe school. Our goal is to have each building in Hazel Park Schools become a MI HEARTSafe School over the next few years.
