Rajapolah Weaving Centre Hayfa Farhah The Weaving Center was created to meet the needs of the people of Sukaruas Creative Weaving Village, Rajapolah where the main livelihood of the residents is as weaving craftsmen. Currently, villagers only weave and sell their woven products only through their respective houses, where the front of the house is used as a display room. Therefore, the weaving center was created to accommodate the activities of the Rajapolah community in weaving as well as to provide a display space consisting of the collaboration of the Rajapolah people's crafts. That way, when outsiders are interested in Rajapolah woven, visitors can come to the Weaving Center to directly select the woven and see the process of making the woven. The weaving center itself consists of a combined da Vinci bridge structure which is arranged using an up and down overlapped technique to form a woven pattern. This building is completely using Apus Bamboo material, apart from the fact that Apus bamboo is sturdy and flexible, Apus bamboo is a very common material used when weaving so that the material will be easy to find and the people in the village are very familiar with the material. Apus bamboo will also strengthen the impression of woven on the interior of the building where the structure, surface and form all apply weaving techniques.
