The CPD course providers will not acknowledge the presence of individuals who do not adhere to this criteria, and those participants will not receive CPD credits for their attendance.

CPD course providers are expected to give CEA photos or screenshots of students participating in online course sessions during audit inspections. The faces of the participants, as well as their full identities, should be visible in these pictures.

Participants will not receive CPD credits for taking the course if they are unable to or refuse to adhere to the aforementioned standards, and the course providers must notify them as soon as feasible of this. If alternative options are available, participants in affected courses may be eligible to obtain them from SEAA.

Demand for CPD The Council for Estate Agencies will start implementing a new Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Framework on October 1, 2019.

The Professional Competencies umbrella term refers to the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses that were originally known as Core courses. Salespeople have the chance to advance and broaden their expertise of estate agency work through these courses All salespeople are obliged to enroll in a CPD course that comes under the Generic Competencies category as part of the new Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Framework. This course, which was originally known as a Non-core course, will aid salespeople in strengthening their soft skills and overall personal growth. There are 18 subheadings under the general phrase “Generic Competency,” some of which are “leadership,” “digital literacy,” “communication,” and “creative thinking.”

You will be required to take CPD courses that fit within the Generic Competencies umbrella in order to fulfill the CPD requirement. Credits obtained under the Professional Competencies cannot be exchanged for those earned under the Generic Competencies.

This is done to make sure that salespeople put their attention on honing their skills in other crucial areas that are not immediately related to their professional knowledge, such service, leadership, and digital literacy. These are topics that have little bearing on the salespeople’s specialized knowledge.

Completing continuous professional development hours is one of the requirements that must be satisfied in accordance with the Estate Agents (Licensing and Registration) Regulations 2010 in order to renew a license or registration. If they don’t follow the rules,
