STORM WATER IS TAXED IN DETROIT. THEREFORE PRECIPITATIONS SHOULD BE RETAINED ON SITE.

MOST OF THE WINDS COME FROM THE SOUTHWEST. VEGETATION IS SUGGESTED ON THE WEST OF THE FACADE TO ELIMINATE PRESSURE ON THE BUILDING.

MAXIMIZING VEGETATION IN AN URBAN ENVIROMENT TO REDUCE THE CARBON FOOTPRINT.

HUMIDITY TEMPERATURE

ALLOWING THE BUILDING TO HAVE BREATHABLE GAPS FOR AIR TO CIRCULATE, SPECIALLY DURING THE SUMMER.

RANGES FROM COLD WINTERS OF 20 F TO SUMMERS OF 80 F. (HIGH R VALUE IN THE WALL IS RECOMMENDED)

Fly-through video

This fly-through video was an Intallation project, where we picked a sensorial quote and iderate it in a particular way.

We thought of explaining our idea based on an abstract fly-through video. The dark and mysterious space tunnel plays with the optical aspect of senses by awakening the sense of touch and feeling from the contrast of lights and textures and also engaging the viewer in the video by removing that senso of ground and making it seem like you are floating in the space.

Architecture of the eye detaches controls, haptic architecture engages and unites. Tactile sensibility replaces distancing visual imagery by enhanced materiality, nearness and intimacy.
