SERIES HISTORY
Sunday marks the first meeting of all-time between Hartford and Stetson. The Hatters are just the second ASUN conference opponent the Hawks have matched up against since Delaware State back in the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
TEAM HISTORY
Hartford scored a programrecord 21 goals in its 21-6 victory over Clark in the season opener on Feb. 22nd. In addition, the Hawks also recorded a programrecord with 22 draw controls throughout the contest.

The Hartford women’s lacrosse team looks to bounce back on Sunday afternoon against Stetson. Opening draw control between the Hawks and Hatters on AlMarzook Field at Alumni Stadium is set for 12 p.m.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Stetson was selected to finish fifth overall in the Atlantic Sun Conference’s (ASUN) Preseason Coaches’ Poll. Prior to the start of conference play, the Hatters enter Sunday’s contest riding a three-game winning streak for a 5-3 overall record. Mia Judd who earned ASUN Preseason AllConference honors leads her squad with 10 caused turnovers and 18 ground balls. On the offensive end, Kaitlin Pani is Stetson’s main threat with a team-high 25 goals and 10 assists for 35 points on the year. Sydney Heimann is the Hatters main netminder, tallying 67 saves in eight starts for a .374 save percentage.
LAST TIME OUT
The Hawks dropped their first game of the season, 15-7, on Thursday against Saint Michael’s College. Lily Belle Baker and Lenaijah Ferguson led Hartford’s offensive output with two goals apiece. Shelby Frashure, Sara Costa, and Meghan Smith were also able to find the back of the net on the afternoon, while Erin Johns dished out
her first career-assist. Hanna Ramsey (6-1) got the start in net and took the loss after making 11 saves. Smith leads the team with a program-record 23 goals on the season while Baker ranks second in program history with 22 of her own. Baker also leads her squad with 45 draw controls while both Emily Steele and Smith are tied for second on the team with 35 each.
RECORD BOOKS
After scoring at least 20 goals in four of their first seven games of the season the Hawks as a team have set a program-record with 115 total goals. Pacing the effort has been Meghan Smith (23), Lily Belle Baker (22), and Lenaijah Ferguson (21). Adding to the teams scoring success this year has been Emily Steele (18), Courtney Ingham (11) and Sara Costa (10), Kelly Hoxie (8) and Shelby Frashure (2).
