SERIES HISTORY
Sunday marks the first meeting of all-time between Hartford and Mount Saint Vincent. The Dolphins also will be the first Skyline team that the Hawks face since the program’s first season back in 2018.

TODAY’S MATCH
The Hartford women’s lacrosse team continues its 2023 campaign, hosting Mount St. Vincent on Saturday. Faceoff between the Hawks and Dolphins is set for 12 p.m. at Al-Marzook Field at Alumni Stadium.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
The Dolphins are coming off a 4-7 season in 2022 that saw the team fall in the opening round of the Skyline Conference Playoffs to Maritime College by a final score of 8-22. Alicia Rodriguez is the top returning scorer from a season ago, where she posted a team-high 42 goals. Ashley Teal returns to the Dolphins after dishing out 13 assists in her junior campaign, which was good for second on the squad. Katherine Hungerford and Macey Forg were the main netminder’s for Mount St. Vincent’s a season ago. Hungerford lead the pairing with 65 saves and a 39.9 save percentage.
LAST TIME OUT
Hartford saw eight goal-scorers combine for a program-record 21 goals to claim a 21-6 victory over Clark on Wednesday. In addition to the program-record in goals, the Hawks also tallied 22 draw controls throughout the contest which is also a single-game record. Graduate student Lily Belle Baker and junior Lenaijah Ferguson each posted perfect 1.000 shooting percentages on 4-of-4 and 3-of-3 shooting. The Hawks saw six of their players record
first career-goals including freshmen quartet Kelly Hoxie, Sara Costa, Shelby Frashure, and Courtney Ingham as well as Ferguson. A program-best five players scored hat tricks including, graduate students Emily Steele and Baker as well as Ferguson and sophomore captain Meghan Smith. Hartford came out on top in nearly every category including shots (38-14), shots on goal (32-10), clears (12-23 vs. 1016), and ground balls (22-17). Senior Hanna Ramsey earned her first win in net this season, tallying four saves throughout the game. Elizabeth Liakos and Kiley Simmons each tallied three points for the Cougars.

Hartford and Mount Saint Vincent meet for the first time in program history Saturday afternoon on the turf of Al-Marzook Field at Alumni Stadium. The Dolphins also will be the first Skyline Conference team that the Hawks face since the program’s first season in 2018.
