WEEKLY GROUNDS UPDATE

The golf course expectedly lost some green color following the frost last week. With the favorable extended forecast, I would expect to see some green-up over the next few weeks. Great progress continues to be made with the irrigation sprinkler replacement. We have completed Hole #6, #7, and #8. The root pruner was on site Monday to prevent tree roots from encroaching on the fairways, tees, and a few green areas. This will help the turf absorb more water and nutrients without competing with the tree roots while also not adversely affecting the health of the trees.
