Energy Conservation Program The Energy Conservation Program is part of Cheney Public works, and strives to create a more sustainable Cheney by connecting with residents to increase energy efficiency in their homes, while earning cash rebates.

BEHIND THE LOGO

The concept behind this logo design is growth, innovation, and success.

The ascending bars call to mind growth projections, rising to meet your goals. They represent increased sustainability, community engagement, public awareness, and energy conservation.

The overall form of the design is a play on the letter E, focusing the project on energy.

The clean, bold lines of the design mean that it can be scaled up and down and still be visible and clear to the viewer. Furthermore, because the concept is rooted in the fundamental values of the Energy Conservation Program, it will maintain context as the program grows and evolves.

Secondary logos include solid black versions, symbol-only, social media icons, and stacked options.

Having a variety of logo options allows branding to remain cohesive across different contexts and materials.

PATTERNS & ASSETS

Pulled directly from details within the logo, the pattern is integrated into the branding, and creates a cohesive and visually interesting graphic element when needed.

Can also be used as a shape to contain and help spotlight information.

LOGO DOs Give the logo plenty of “breathing room” Wherever the logo is displayed, it should have a reasonable amount of clear space between it and any other element.

A good rule of thumb is to maintain a gap of space at least the width of the bars within the logo on all sides.

Let the logo “stand out” Always place the correct logo for the relative darkness of lightness of the background.

The logo should always stand out on every product/material on which it is displayed.

WHAT & WHY? Having all of the Energy Conservation Program information in one easy-to-access place will allow customers to instantly engage.

QR codes can be printed directly onto mail customers are already receiving and direct them to ECP services and offers.

Content would be broken down into basic categories, with a “Fast Facts” section to answer standard questions about eligibility and the rebate process. Information would then be broken down by service type (i.e., appliance rebates, window & door installation, etc) Finally, a call-to-action urging customers to contact the ECP.
