Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time. If you have any access requirements please let us know.

Most of our events and activities take place outside, so please wear suitable clothing and footwear.

Thank you for your support during 2019, we look forward to seeing you at some of our events in 2020.

Harlow Town Park and Museum Gardens update September 2019 Its awards time at the Town Park!

For the fourth year running we have secured a Green Flag Award (along with Parndon Wood Nature Reserve).

The new Pets’ Corner/Inclusive Play area has also been presented with a Gold PiPA (Play in Public Areas) award, gaining 96 out of 100 points in its assessment. We celebrated both awards with a ‘thank you’ BBQ for all the marvellous volunteers who help keep the park looking neat and tidy for our visitors.

Both the park and Pets’ Corner have secured the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence as well, after a very busy summer holiday with activities such as the annual National Playday and Pets’ Corner Dog Show.

Harlow Museum Gardens hosted PreSchool and Science and Technology sessions and was popular with visitors throughout the holiday period. Both sites are now quieter, but as shown in this guide, there are still plenty of activities to enjoy.

The continuing dry weather is causing some problems for new plants (many donated by Matthews Plants and B&Q), but these are being cared for and well watered by the Town Park and Museum Garden volunteers and Harlow College Supported Studies groups.
