OUR HISTORY THE HARLEM FINE ARTS SHOW (HFAS) CELEBRATES ITS 15TH ANNIVERSARY AS THE LARGEST TRAVELING AFRICAN DIASPORIC ART SHOW IN THE UNITED STATES. Inspired by the Harlem Renaissance, HFAS provides a platform for African Diasporic Artists and American Visual Artists to educate, inspire, exhibit and sell their works. Since 2009, the HFAS and Dion Clarke have championed the story and voices of African Artists from across the globe. Starting in the basement of Riverside Church with 100 attendees, the HFAS has grown to over 10,000 attendees and moved downtown to the center of the art world to the Glasshouse. In 2023, HFAS celebrated its 15th Anniversary Celebration at the Glasshouse, ushering in a new era for our flagship event in the heart of Manhattan during Black History Month. As we continue forward, we were proud to host the Harlem Fine Art Show's 15th Anniversary Celebration at the Glasshouse, in February 2023. The success of that event has led us to center all of our programming around hosting our flagship event in New York every year during Black History Month. Creating an annual event in one space allows us myriad opportunities to innovate and represent the diaspora on a massive scale. We are eager to partner with aligned organizations and make HFAS 2024 all it can be.
