MACOES Asia MICE Youth Challenge 2016 The MACEOS Asia MICE Youth Challenge was held on 25 August 2016 at Sunway University to find the team that will represent Malaysia at the AFECA MICE Youth Challenge 2016 in Xiamen, China. The champion and first runner up from Sunway University and Taylor’s University respectively will represent Malaysia at the AFECA Asia MICE Youth Challenge on 8 November 2016 in China. MACEOS would like to extend their well wishes to the winning teams!
1st MACEOS Contractors Industry Dialogue 2016 Held on 2 September at Seri Pacific Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, exhibition contractors got together for the first time to discuss and troubleshoot the various challenges they face. Spearheaded by President of MACEOS, Dato Vincent Lim, the dialogue saw healthy participation and fruitful discussions. Members had an opportunity to voice their frustrations as well as the various challenges faced in the industry which was noted by the association. This included performance bonds, lighting connection fees, limited time for exhibition move in/move out, safety awareness & implementation for workers, insurance, public liability & workers compensation, ECO green, how to handle waste materials and much more!
