Kvam Herad is a municipality by the Hardangerfjord - only one hour from Bergen. Large parts of the Norwegian Scenic Route Hardanger are located in Kvam. Along the route, you can experience the Steinsdalsfossen waterfall. It is a truly unique waterfall you can walk under! Most buses in the region stop at the municipal center in Norheimsund, and it is easy to get to Bergen and/or other areas in Hardanger. During the period May - September, there are daily fjord cruises from the quay in Norheimsund. The boat, which stops by Herand, Utne, Lofthus, Kinsarvik, Ulvik and Eidfjord, returns in the afternoon with bus correspondence to Bergen. Activities such as RIB tours to Fyksesundet, Hardanger Maritime Museum, waterparks and a display center for aquaculture, allows you to experience the world’s most beautiful fjord in a memorable way.
