PACKING healthy MEALS & SNACKS Getting yourself and your little one off for the day can be very hectic. When thinking about what to pack, try and mix it up between the following food groups: Whole Grains
Fruits
Vegetables
Lean Protein
Dairy:
low-fat or full fat
Mix and match from the following lists to pack healthy, balanced snacks and meals: EASY -TO - PACK CONVENIENCE SNACKS: cheese sticks
small raisin box
pre-packaged guacamole
whole grain cereal
pre-packaged hummus
whole grain crackers
unsweetened applesauce packs or fruit/veggie pouches
mini whole grain rice cakes
small containers of full or low fat yogurt small containers of cottage cheese
washed blueberries and raspberries dipping sauces such as ranch dressing, salsa
