WHOLE GRAINS into your tot's diet
Grains are healthiest and best when they are whole, meaning they haven’t been processed to remove any of the grain’s components: the endosperm, germ or bran. Whole grains generally have more fiber, protein and vitamins & minerals than grains that are refined.
Here are some examples of whole grains: Amaranth Barley Brown rice Chia Farro Kamut Millet Quinoa Whole grain bread, cereal, crackers, pasta, pizza crust, waffles, pancakes This tip is from our Happy Mama Mentor Theresa, RD and mom to Gracie & Gabby Also available to chat at: happyfamilyorganics/chat
