At Northern Soul, our Pina Coladas are made using Rum, fresh juice and a splash Grenadine, which gives the cocktail added flavour and a lovely pinkish hue… But if you’re in the mood for something stronger, we can use Sampan Vietnamese Rhum.

“Maker’s Mark” Old Fashioned

Using Marker’s Mark Kentucky Bourbon, sugar, a splash of soda and a twist of toasted Vietnamese green orange peel “Cam Xanh”, our “Old Fashioned” cocktail retains all the honeyed finish of this wonderful handmade American Whiskey while adding notes of citrus zest.

A subtly sweet mixer with herbal undertones, The Maker’s Mark Old Fashioned is a perfect drink for sipping and enjoying Hanoi’s beautiful scenery.

Spanish Gin & Tonic

This isn’t just your typical gin AND tonic, but rather a “Gin Tonic.” Originating from Spain, this bold flavoured cocktail takes the traditional gin and tonic formula and adds a wealth of exotic flavours. The Spanish definitely know where it’s at!

We start by adding Opihr Spiced Gin. A spiced dry gin from the UK, which is infused with Asian black pepper and coriander. We then add fresh mint, lime and a twist of orange zest to give the tipple a citrus kick.

The final touch is a add black peppercorn sourced from the Vietnamese island of Phu Quoc to further accentuate the peppery taste of the gin.
