Welcome
I’d like to welcome you to the 2023 Kasiska Division of Health Sciences’ Research Day, “Health Education for Life.” Thank you to the Research Day Committee for all of their work on this event!
We are so pleased to have an outstanding slate of keynote speakers and a plethora of great presentations and posters. We appreciate all who participate in sharing their scholarship and engaging in discussions about these projects.
Our speakers today bring several diverse and timely topics to our event.
• The intersection between health and the environment.
• Including innovative perspectives of healthy diet into our interactions with our patients and clients.
• Advocating for mental health across all aspects of care.
As Idaho’s leader in health sciences education, our students benefit from our faculty being on the cutting edge of their disciplines. Research and Scholarship Day 2023 allows for an opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, get excited about new ideas, and share these ideas across professions
Have a great day and thanks for your attendance!
