From left to right, congratulations to Monty Seager, Alfred Bancroft, James Eggleton, Mikael Nur, Ben Rowe and Eddie Haycock. Along with the Prefects and Mentors, the School Captains act as ambassadors for the School and serve as role models, offering advice and support to younger Hamptonians.

As well as raising much-needed funds, it was the perfect excuse to settle down with a good book - or two!

BEEKEEPING CLUB

It’s been a hive of activity at Beekeeping Club.

Hamptonians have been tending the hives and learning how to care for the School’s 40,000 bees. An added bonus has been harvesting over 40kg of Hampton honey which will be sold to raise money for charity.

ENDURANCE RUNNER

Modern Languages teacher Mr Philipp Studt completed the challenging Cape Wrath Ultraa 400km, eight-day running event.

Tackling the remote and rugged terrain of the Scottish Highlands, Mr Studt completed the course in an outstanding 65 hours and 31 minutes and raised over £3,000 for our Form Charities.

CLASS OF 2025

As senior Hamptonians took time to say their goodbyes to classmates and teachers, they were praised for their enormous contribution to all aspects of the School community.

You’ve made this School better, not just by what you’ve done, but by who you’ve been.
Miss Victoria Smith – Head of Upper Sixth

CRICKET TOUR

Enjoying victories in five out of the six fixtures, the standout moment was a thrilling match against a Barbados Select XI at the iconic Kensington Oval Ground. Senior Hamptonians also enjoyed touring the beautiful Caribbean island.

Second and Third Years tackled an action-packed trip to Wales.

The linguists took time to practise their language skills with their host families and enjoyed a trip to the Matisse Museum to see the works of one of the most influential artists of the 20th century.

MUD GLORIOUS

First Years enjoyed a weekend of activities on the Dorset Coast. A hike to Corfe Castle, raft building and high ropes were all on the itinerary, but the ever-popular mud trail was an unforgettable highlight resulting in some unrecognisable faces at the end of the day. Sorry about the laundry!

Religious Studies and Philosophy pupils enjoyed a trip to Rome.

As well as exploring many of the Eternal City’s historic sites, several Hamptonians witnessed Pope Francis deliver his final papal address in St Peter’s Square on Easter Sunday, joining thousands of people from around the world for the Urbi et Orbi – the Pope’s Easter message and blessing.

JUNIOR SCHOOLS’ MUSIC DAY

Over 100 junior pupils from 38 partner schools joined Hamptonians for a day of collaborative music-making.

They took part in a series of masterclasses in singing, brass, woodwind, percussion and strings, before coming together for a celebratory concert at the end of the day.

BATTLE OF THE BANDS

Over 50 Hamptonians from First Year to Upper Sixth raised the Hammond Theatre rafters at the Battle of the Bands Rock Concert.

From Britney Spears to The Doors, our musicians showcased their talent with a fantastic evening of rock, all in support of Giving Day. Congratulations to band HOODs who were crowned Battle of the Bands champions.

MUSIC WORKSHOPS

A series of workshops this term saw First Years discover the vibrant beats of Indian dhol drumming and immerse themselves in the traditions of South Asian percussion.

Second Year pupils explored the melodic tones of the steel pans, while Third Years embraced the ancient music of Japanese taiko drumming.

LEAVERS’ CONCERT

Family, friends and staff gathered to celebrate our Upper Sixth Leavers’ outstanding contribution to the musical life of the School.

The concert featured a varied programme spanning genres and generations, from Gershwin to Brahms and Nina Simone to Henry Mancini. It was an exceptional display of talent from our musicians.

HOUND OF
