Welcome to The Test and Loddon Valleys: Two neighbouring areas of Hampshire, two different landscapes; one shaped by chalk, the other producing internationally recognised cheeses. Produced by Hampshire Fare, we want to inspire you to explore a little known swathe of Hampshire- from Yateley in the north-east of the county, where waterways drain into the River Loddon, sweeping round west and south to the River Test.
This is hidden Hampshire. Often not included in the guidebooks- a landscape of heathland and woodland in the east, farmland in its heart, and chalk downland with clear streams and vineyards in the west. It is an unexpectedly rural area liberally scattered with chocolate box villages.
