



Now that we’re well past the first quarter we can say with confidence that the higher interest rate environment has certainly not put a dent in buyer demand in our neck of the woods. The good news for both buyers and sellers is that both inventory and sales are up for both condos and single-family homes in Brookline and Newton. It should be noted, however, that the increase in inventory in the single-family home market tends to be skewed to the high end of the market. Certainly, we need more homes in the starter and mid-priced home range.
