Step Up Project
This project was a fundraiser for a small business in my hometown, the Lyken’s Valley Children’s Museum. 17 artists and 17 authors were paired up to create a cohesive work of art. My team’s topic was ‘Step Up to Honesty’, and my task was to recreate a famous artist’s work onto these Converse shoes. I chose Francsisco Goya as my artist, and it was paired with an author’s story about ‘Honesty’. In the end, there was an auction to sell these shoes, and the community stepped up to raise over $10,000 for the museum.
Website Design
As a class course, I was tasked to work with a client and create a new and improved website for their business. My team, which consisted of other student designers and programmers, worked together to create a working modern day website that satisified our clients. Our final outcome, processed through Figma, resulted in a functionable website for the business of Giclee Printing and Framing of New England.
3D Earring Design
Starting sketches on paper and then moving into Autodesk Maya Lab, I have produced different works, one including an earring in the shape of a human ear. Here are two separate, rendered views, one as a geometric view and the other as a smoothed object.
Stop Motion Film
As a group project, me and three other students were tasked to create a stop motion film that described what the VAPA (Visual and Performance Art) department at Springfield College consists of. Our video explored multiple ways to develop stop motion, including scenes with people, 2D paper structures, and 3D claymations.
Kinetic Type
Another motion graphics project included a kinetic type film. I chose a humorous clip from Bob’s Burgers. This was produced in Adobe After Effects, then reverted to an mp4 file through Adobe Media Encoder. The final length of the flim is a couple seconds over a minute.
Title Sequence
This project was designed to revamp the existing title sequence to David Bowies’ movie, ’Labyrinth’. The length of this film is just as long as the original title sequence, and was done in Adobe After Effects.
Book Covers
Here are a few concepts of Grimm’s Fairy Tales book cover designs. There are three solutions to the cover, manual, digital, and typographic variations.
Posters
As a poster collector, I decided to work in poster making. The poster to the left was done digitally. Boots were drawn on the Procreate app and then transferred to Adobe Illustrator to finish with text and textures. The poster above is a manual, typographic printmake of a music band. This was done on recycled Tetra Pak and printed on Stonehenge paper. Boots? Boots?
Working in photography has helped boost my skill in the arts and allowed me to experiment with Adobe’s Lightroom software. This page is dedicated to a few photographs that I have taken for school projects. The nature photos were edited to saturate it’s blue hues, imitating the cold that winter brings. Another set of images is black and white self portrait photography, shot with different forms of lighting.

Studio Arts
While I focus my education on multimedia design, I have a very long history of studio arts, including drawing, painting, printmaking, and wheel pottery. Here are some pieces that show my manual creativity, which should be remembered that we can apply these tools into design and other fields of art that are heavily tech based.
