A színes forgatagban a népművészet mesterei változatos bemutatókkal várják az érdeklődőket a kézművesek utcájában. In the evenings folk bands, soloists, dancers of national and international reputation will make the evening really memorable. On the open air stage among others such famous music bands will entertain the audience as the Molnár Dixieland Band and Katica Illényi, the Benkó Dixieland Band, the Bohém Ragtime Band, and the Police Big Band.

XXX. Kösely-kupa lovasverseny A három évtizedes múltra visszatekintő Kösely-kupa a régió egyik legszínvonalasabb lovasversenye. Hajdúszoboszló Város Nagydíjáért az ország minden részéről érkeznek versenyzők. A díjugrató számok mellett színes programok - bemutatók, csikósverseny, kirakodóvásár - várják az érdeklődőket. Helyszín: repülőtér XXX. Kösely Cup Horse Race The Kösely Cup horse race that has a three decade past is one of the most highly ranked horse races of the region. Competitors are coming from all the regions of the country to win the Great Cup of the city of Hajdúszoboszló. People are awaited by colourful programs – shows, horse wrangler competition, and a traditional street fair – in addition to Show Jumping. Venue: Airport XXX. Kösely-Pokal Pferderennen Der auf eine drei Jahrzehnte lange Geschichte zurückblickende Kösely-Pokal ist eines der niveauvollsten Pferderennen der Region. Um den großen Preis der Stadt Hajdúszoboszló kämpfen viele Teilnehmer aus dem ganzen Land. Neben den Springrennen erwarten die Besucher viele bunte Programme, wie Vorstellungen, Fohlenrennen und eine Messe.
XXX. Derby o puchar Kösely’ego Derby konne o puchar Kösely’ego odbywające się od 30 lat to najwyżej oceniane wyścigi w regionie. O Wielki Puchar miasta Hajdúszoboszló walczą dżokeje ze wszystkich regionów kraju. Oprócz pokazu skoków na widzów czekają takie atrakcje, jak pokazy, konkurs kowbojski oraz tradycyjny targ uliczny. Miejsce: Lotnisko Cursa de cai Cupa Kösely – ediţia a XXX-a Cursa de cai Cupa Kösely are o istorie de trei decenii, fiind cea mai importantă cursă de cai din regiune. Competitori din toate zonele ţării vin pentru a câştiga Marea Cupă a oraşului Hajdúszoboszló. Augusztus 25-27./August 25-27 II. Papp László nemzetközi emlékverseny Névadója emléke előtt tiszteleg a háromnapos versennyel a Hajdúszoboszlói Papp László Bokszakadémia. Három évvel ezelőtt itt tartották meg a Magyarország-Anglia csapattalálkozót. Tavaly hat ország nemzeti válogatottja vett részt az első emlékversenyen. Megtiszteli jelenlétével a rendezvényt Papp László családja, egykori kiváló ökölvívók, olimpikonok, elismert sportvezetők, közéleti személyiségek. Helyszín: Hungarospa strand II. László Papp International Memorial Contest With this three day contest the László Papp Boxing Academy will pay its honour to the memory of its eponym. Three years ago the meeting of the Hungarian and English teams was held here. Last year the national teams of six countries participated on the first memorial contest. The event will be honoured by the presence of the family of László Papp, and by the attendance of former excellent boxers, Olympic champions, well known sport coaches, and well known public personalities.
Concursul Internaţional desfăşurat în memoria lui László Papp – ediţia a II-a Prin acest concurs desfăşurat pe parcursul a trei zile, Academia de Box László Papp îşi va prezenta omagiile în cinstea acestui mare boxer maghiar. Aici s-a desfăşurat acum trei ani întâlnirea dintre echipele Angliei şi Ungariei. Anul trecut, la prima ediţie, au participat şase echipe naţionale. Evenimentul va fi onorat de prezenţa familiei lui László Papp şi de participarea unor foşti mari boxeri, campioni olimpici, antrenori sportivi binecunoscuţi şi alte personalităţi publice.

Vor drei Jahren wurde hier das Mannschaftstreffen zwischen Ungarn und England organisiert. Im letzten Jahr nahmen die nationalen Teams von sechs Ländern am ersten Gedenkwettbewerb teil. An der Veranstaltung nimmt auch die Familie von Papp László teil, sowie einstige ausgezeichnete Boxer, Olympiateilnehmer, bekannte Sportleiter und sonstige Persönlichkeiten.

Zawody uświetnią swoją obecnością krewni László Pappa oraz byli mistrzowie boksu, olimpijczycy i znani trenerzy oraz osobistości życia publicznego. Szeptember 4./September 4 XII. Birka- és slambucfőző örömnap A régió egyik legnagyobb gasztronómiai rendezvénye minden év szeptemberében várja az érdeklődőket. Ez az alkalom nem hasonlítható más főzőversenyhez. Nem is verseny, mert itt minden bográcsban a legízletesebb étel rotyog. A jó hangulatról a szervezők és a résztvevők gondoskodnak. A nagy találkozások napját látványos kulturális program kíséri. Helyszín: repülőtér XII. Mutton and ’Slambuc’ Cooking Day Those interested may join one of the largest gastronomic events of the region in September each year. This occasion cannot be compared to any other cooking contest. Actually it is not a real contest, since here in each bowl there is a most delicious meal wobbling. The good spirit will be ensured by the organisers and the participants. The day of the great meetings will be accompanied by a spectacular cultural program.
XII. Lamm- und Schlambuzkochtag Eines der größten gastronomischen Veranstaltungen der Region erwartet seine Besucher jedes Jahr im September. Diese Veranstaltung ist jedoch mit keinem anderen Kochwettbewerb vergleichbar. Es ist auch gar kein richtiger Wettbewerb, da hier in jedem Kessel die schmackhaftesten Speisen kochen. Für die gute Stimmung sorgen die Organisatoren und die Teilnehmer. Der Tag der großen Zusammentreffen wird von einem sehenswürdigem kulturellen Programm begleitet.

Skala i rozmach tej imprezy są niespotykane. Nie jest to typowy konkurs, gdyż wszystkie potrawy przyrządzone są po mistrzowsku. Organizatorzy i uczestnicy zadbają o dobry humor, a niezapomnianym wrażeniom smakowym towarzyszyć będzie spektakularny program artystyczny. Miejsce: Lotnisko Ziua Preparatelor din Oaie şi ’Slambuc’ – ediţia a XII-a Toţi cei interesaţi, pot participa la unul din cele mai importante evenimente gastronomice din regiune, în luna septembrie a fiecărui an. Această ocazie nu se poate compara cu nici un alt concurs de gătit. De fapt, nu este un concurs în adevăratul sens al cuvântului, dat fiind faptul că aici fiecare oală conţine preparate delicioase. Hajdúszoboszlói Bioétel- és Borfesztivál Magyarország egyedülálló gasztronómiai eseménye, melyen bio alapanyagokból helyben készült ételkülönlegességek, finomságok kóstolása közben kiváló magyar pincészetek boraival ismerkedhetnek meg az érdeklődők. A háromnapos rendezvényt népzenei és néptáncbemutatók, könnyű- és komolyzenei koncertek, valamint a bio életformát népszerűsítő kísérőprogramok egészítik ki. Egészség és bor - e kettő itt összeforr! Hajdúszoboszló Bio Food and Wine Festival It is a unique gastronomic event of Hungary on the occasion of which while tasting the food specialties, delicacies prepared at the site from bio materials one may get acquainted with the wines of excellent Hungarian wineries. The three day event is complemented with folk music and folk dance shows, light and classical music concerts, and accompanying programs popularising the bio life style. Podczas trzydniowej imprezy odbywają się także pokazy tańca ludowego i koncerty muzyki folk, pokazy światło-dźwięk i koncerty muzyki klasycznej oraz inne imprezy popularyzujące ekologiczny styl życia. December 31./December 31 Óévbúcsúztató szilveszteri csergetés A szilveszteri csergetés több évszázados hagyomány. Úgy tudjuk, hogy elődeink 1559. december 31-én kolompszóval és ostorpattogtatással ijesztették el a Szoboszlót fenyegető török hadsereget. Az új attrakciókkal kiegészülve minden év utolsó estéjén csikósok hada űzi el a „gonosz erőket”, majd nagyszabású koncertekkel és tűzijátékkal búcsúztatjuk az óévet. Helyszín: Hősök tere Cracking the whips on New Year’s Eve The New Year whip cracking (the so-called “csergetés”) has a three hundred year tradition. As far as we know our ancestors on December 31, 1559 frightened off the Turkish army threatening Szoboszló with cow bells and whip cracking. Supplemented with new attractions each year an army of horse wranglers on the last evening of each year drive away the “evil powers” and we say farewell to the old year with high calibre concerts and fireworks.
Peitschenhiebe am Silvester zur Verabschiedung des Jahres Die Peitschenhiebe am Silvester haben eine Jahrhunderte lange Tradition. Der Legende nach haben unsere Vorfahren das Szoboszló bedrohende türkische Heer mit Glockengeläute und Peitschenhieben vertrieben. Mit neueren Attraktionen ergänzt vertreiben am letzten Abend der Nacht Hirten die „dunklen Kräfte”, wonach wir das verstreichende Jahr mit einem großen Konzert und Feuerwerk verabschieden.

Standort: Platz der Helden Sylwestrowe szaleństwo w rytmie strzałów z bata Noworoczne strzelanie z bata (i tzw. „csergetés”) ma ponad trzystuletnią tradycję. Legenda mówi, że 31 grudnia 1559 r. nasi przodkowie odstraszyli armię turecką podchodzącą pod mury Szoboszló krowimi dzwonkami i strzelaniem z batów. Co roku tego dnia kowboje wypędzają „złe moce”, a zebrani witają Nowy Rok na koncercie uświetnionym pokazem fajerwerków. Miejsce: Plac Bohaterów Pluguşorul din ajunul Anului Nou Obiceiul pocnitului din bici de Anul Nou (aşa numitul “csergetés”) are o tradiţie de trei sute de ani. Din informaţiile existente, strămoşii noştri, pe data de 31 decembrie 1559, au speriat armata otomană cu talăngi şi pocnit din bici. Completat de atracţii noi în fiecare an, spectacolul armatei de “cowboy” din ultima noapte a anului goneşte “spiritele rele”, după care ne luăm adio de la anul trecut cu artificii şi concerte de mare calibru.
