T.A.A.C.V is a contemporary African American art museum that displays quilts, sculptures, music and movies. Conveniently placed down the block from the Central Fulton County Library by Marcel Breuer, T.A.A.C.V is formed by the need to mitigate light into the building and to create cavities of occupiable space.

Levitate Midtown is a heavy timber mixed use office building located next to the I-75/I-85 connector and on the opposite side of Midtown.
Carved out more space from the o ce to emphasize podium typology.
Created curvlinear entry wall and atrium to allow more light in the core of the building

Unwind is a stress relief center that is focused on providing an environment to de-stress. Conveniently placed in the heart of Atlanta, Unwind is formed by the circulation paths of pedestrians, and receives a lot of foot traffic from the East Atlanta belt line.
The orange is the sun’s summer solstice and the green lines indicate the sun’s winter solstice
Pedestrian circulation is comming primarily from the Beltline and Virgina. Vehicular circulation is coming primarily off of Monroe. Pedestrian circulation creates the primary form of Unwind.

Green outside area to help learn about the positive effects of biophilia
4) The carved out form is used to shape each of our floors. The bottom level is the smallest to make Unwide seem lightweight and more welcoming
2) A curved surface added to boolean split the shape to make the form more

5) Voids created for light passageways to maximize daylight in our building.
6) Addes voids and openings to create outside seating areas and maximize our views. Created balconies to fit the program

The programatic function of our exhibit, cafe, and classes which is a common practice to calm someone down things you can hear, 2 things that you can smell,
classes are based on sensory and the 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, grounding technique down that is overwhelmed. Find 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 thing that you can taste.
