Competitors had to swim 300m, cycle 20km and run 5km. Ladies: Alison Da LaraBell 10th: 1 hour 11 minutes and 59 seconds. Kate Thomas 13th: 1 hour 13 minutes and 38 seconds. Deborah Stewart 42nd: 1 hour 27 minutes and 57 seconds. Emma Ratcliffe 55th 1 hour 38 minutes 53 seconds. Men: David Dulake, 38th : 1 hour 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Steven Bowen, 74th: 1 hour 7 minutes and 30 seconds. Andrew Stewart, 108th: 1 hour 11 minutes and 30 seconds. Colchester 10K Steve Hunt and his son Stuart took on the Colchester 10k on Sunday 13th May. Five hundred runners started the race which took them around pathways, the Garrison and Abbey Fields. All the proceeds went to Help for Heroes. Steve said: “Having endured five weeks of rain, the sun came out for the race making it very hot for competitors!” Steve was 70th with a time of 44:50 and 8th in the over 50 class. Stuart finished 130th with a PB time of 49 minutes and 24 seconds. Breckland 10K Claire Mortimer took on her first ever race on the 7th May and finished in a respectable time of 60 minutes and 44 seconds.

Swimming - non triathletes welcome held at Hadleigh swimming pool, Sunday 8.30-9.30am. £3.50 per session or £12.50 for a block of 5 (subject to change) Optional coaching cards to follow or a 15min coaching session is offered from 8.45-9am.
