Hackney’s Children’s Centres will offer the services that young children and their parents need to thrive and make the most of life’s opportunities.

Help your child be happy, healthy and ready to learn.

Children’s Centres are for all Hackney families with children aged 0-5.

You can enjoy free play sessions, seek advice on parenting and your child’s health, learn new skills or just make great friends.

Here are some of the activities you can take your child to for free.

Sessions are colour coded to help you know what to expect.

Try to vary the sessions and attend as many different colours as you can.

Colour code M essy Play and Creative sessions Explore with a variety of messy and creative activities. These sessions support your child’s language development and can help with fussy eaters too.

Music, Singing and Physical Movement sessions Enjoy music and/or movement together. These sessions support your child’s communication and physical development.

Play and Cookery sessions Explore basic cookery with your child. Learn how to make a variety of healthy foods that you and your child will love. tay and Play sessions S Play together, help your child learn and make new friends.

S tory and Library sessions Enjoy stories together. These sessions support your child’s language and pre-reading skills.

Toy Library sessions Play together, make friends and borrow toys so that you can continue the fun and learning at home.

Under-twos sessions Enjoy thrilling and sensory activities with your young child.

Additional sessions Join in a variety of additional activities to help you and your child.
