NO CAMP JULY 4 & 5
Our little campers will engage in a world of discovery! Focusing on peer socialization, teamwork and imaginative play through structured indoor and outdoor activities. They will experience the full range of our facilities, including YMCA-accredited swim lessons, outdoor park trips, and age-appropriate project challenges!
Our big campers will explore a breadth of adventures this summer! Emphasizing compassion, honesty, respect, and responsibility through team sports & games, swim & nature exploration and dynamic STEM and arts projects, our campers will grow as active youths and community leaders all summer long. They will become true explorers through weekly trips to Tod’s Point focusing on swimming, hiking, nature crafts & activities and learning about aquatic life at the Bruce Museum Seaside Center!
JULY 13 - AUG 17
Introducing our new summer T-ball clinic for children ages 3 to 5! Over six dynamic weeks, we’ll introduce your little ones to the world of T-ball with engaging activities tailored just for them. From learning the basics of batting, catching, and throwing to refining their skills in hitting, fielding, and base running in subsequent weeks, each session is packed with fun drills, games, and teamwork exercises. As they progress through the program, they’ll develop essential coordination, communication, and teamwork skills while having a blast on the field.
JULY 1 - JULY 26
The Y has partnered with Kids In Sports, a team of sports educators, who’ve created an expertly designed curriculum that is innovative, ageappropriate, and fun! Their multi-sport program for younger children grows with your child–from adult participation to separation classes. Older children learn the fundamentals of specific team sports, and at every age your child gains important life skills like taking instruction, working in groups, and sportsmanship. These classes begin to focus children on the principles of six sports (soccer, basketball, baseball, football, volleyball, and hockey), teaching fundamentals of sports moves and general game play rules.
Separate classes for the following age groups: 1 & 2 years 3 years 4 & 5 years Multiple Days and Times Available!
Health and fitness are important at any age. Our Teen and Tween Wellness programs are designed to encourage kids to create healthy habits and to develop and reach their fitness goals.
Learn the fundamentals of boxing technique and self-defense in our youth boxing classes. Improve strength, endurance, and athleticism while relieving stress and having fun.
Strength training is the foundation of health, athletic performance, and body building. Your progress is only as good as your technique, and in this 8-week program we will hone your lifting form to safely optimize your results in the gym. This class is for total beginners to intermediate lifters.
A limited opportunity for our youth to practice skills learned in their boxing classes or for those that simply want to punch the bag. In this hour a wellness associate will monitor the room to ensure safe usage is followed. This is not a structure workout, but rather an opportunity for our youth to access a typical adult only space. Bring your own gloves!

This one-hour basic Hatha Yoga class for teen girls (ages 14 and older) is designed to strengthen and lengthen as a cross-training opportunity and to build positive self-esteem and identity awareness in a fun and encouraging atmosphere.
We are thrilled to introduce our new Counselors in Training (CIT) program! The CIT program is designed to bridge the transition from camper to counselor in a supportive and engaging environment with hands-on leadership training.
We are looking for high-energy, dynamic, and responsible participants to support and engage our campers throughout their summer journey. A CIT is considered a camper, rather than a staff member. We accept CIT applications for 14 and 15-year-olds. CITs will experience leadership workshops, CPR/First Aid training, field trips, teambuilding, planning activities, participating in camp program areas, and contributing to the camp community.

Parents accompany children in Level A, which introduces infants and toddlers to the aquatic environment through exploration and encourages them toenjoythemselveswhilelearningaboutthewater.
In stage B, parents work with their children to explore body positions, floating, blowing bubbles, and fundamentalsafetyandaquaticskills.
In stage 1, students develop comfort with underwater exploration and learn to safely exit in the event of fallingintoabodyofwater.
In stage 2, students focus on body position and control, directional change, and forward movement in the water while also continuing to practice how to safely exit in theeventoffallingintoabodyofwater.
students learn how to swim to safety from a longer distance than in previous stages in the event of falling into a body of water. This stage also introduces rhythmicbreathingandintegratedarmandlegaction.
Students develop stroke technique in front crawl and back crawl and learn the breaststroke kick and butterfly kick. Water safety is reinforced through treading water andelementarybackstroke.
Students in stage 5 work on stroke technique and learn all major competitive strokes. The emphasis on water safetycontinuesthroughtreadingwaterandsidestroke.
In stage 6, students refine stroke technique on all major competitive strokes, learn about competitive swimming, and discover how to incorporate swimming into a healthylifestyle.
In addition to our standard youth swim lessons, we are now also offering programs designed to help young swimmers and aspiring water polo players prepare for a future in competitive aquatics. These programs teach kids the fundamental of the sport and work on their skills and technique.
Noodle Water Polo aims to introduce juniors to the sport of water polo. Players will use noodles or floatation devices to stay afloat so strong swimming skills are not necessary. Through participation, water polo skills are learned with greater ease, as well as the development of water confidence and water skills in a team environment.
Build endurance and improve stroke technique simultaneously. This program will condition swimmers so they will be able to enroll in a more competitive style of swimming this fall. Each week will have a specific stroke focus. This intensive style practice will encourage repetition and development of each individual swim stroke.
This program is designed to provide swimmers with practice sets to support them with building confidence to take their swimming skills to the next level. Practices include development of all 4 swim strokes, starts, turns, relays, diving and more! This small group, learning environment will give swimmers a sense of what it feels like to be part of a team.

Research shows that consistent exercise benefits people with Parkinson’s Disease, helping to protect certain areas of the brain affected by the disease. Exercises that focus on balance, coordination, and agility, help those affected by Parkinson’s to maintain higher levels of function and greater quality of life. The Parkinson’s Body & Mind program at YMCA of Greenwich offers group wellness classes as well as monthly support groups on the last Wednesday of the month at 12PM for this rapidly growing community.
