CRÉMANT DE BORDEAUX AOP

NON-VINTAGE BRUT

Vineyards along the western coast of France, such as those in the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux, are cooled by Atlantic Ocean breezes and produce some fabulous Sparkling Wines.

WINEMAKING & VINEYARDS

WINEMAKER: CHRISTOPHE BETIN

WINERY: VIGNERONS MAIS AUTREMENT

The vineyards are located at the confluence of the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, south-east of Bordeaux. After pressing comes the “settling” of the juice when it is left in a refrigerated tank for 48 hours minimum. The clear juice is then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. After fermentation, the wines are extracted and filtered. The next step follows the Champagne method with a second fermentation in the bottle, with the aim of achieving fine, elegant bubbles. Each bottle is filled with base wine with live yeasts and sugar. The aging process lasts at least 9 months.

TASTING NOTES

This special reserve is characterised by a light pale golden colour. It reveals delicate floral aromas. The mouth is refreshing and expressive.

FOOD MATCH

This aromatic, supremely fresh Crémant can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif and also works well with light meals, tapas and desserts.
