• Rioja in Northern Spain is best known for berry-scented, barrel-aged red wines made from Tempranillo and Garnacha. It is arguably Spain's top wine region, and certainly the most famous.

• Selected wines from exceptional vintages which are aged for a total of five years with at least two years in oak barrels and two years in bottles.
• The Gran Reserva level of Rioja experiences the most oak-aging meaning the wines have the most tannin structure and age-worthy potential.

• Hot and dry, it was a short, early harvest reflected In the ripeness of the crop. Berries were small across the region, with the higher, cooler vineyards of Rioja showing especially high quality.

VINEYARDS:
High altitude (500-700m) top class Rioja Oriental and Central vineyards. Gravel soils
OAK MATURATION:
Young wine with no oak maturation, this Garnacha spends 3 months on its lees to add body and complexity
