THE BIRTH OF A MOVEMENT Guard Your Heart Ministries or GYHM was founded on December 2017 by Jovenise Benjamin. This ministry was first launched as a Facebook page and since then has expanded. GYHM has members all around the world. Besides our main page we have two private Facebook groups: Guard Your Heart Ministries (ladies) and Guard Your Heart Ministries (gentleman). On the main page as well as the private pages we post daily devotionals, advice, quotes and scriptures to inspire others.

As of 2020, GYHM has a website, gyhm.org and has also launched a clothing store on teespring.com.

In 2020, the Lord begun to speak to our founder about launching a magazine, which has been a childhood dream of hers. The purpose of Guard Your Heart Magazine is to empower and inspire others to dream big and pursue their God given dreams. We hope that each story shared will inspire you to overcome the hurdles in your life and pursue what God has laid out in your heart to do.

Ella Sanvictores is a woman after God’s own heart. She is an author, online talk show host, speaker, facilitator, webinar and event organizer. She juggles these alongside being a full-time minister. Tell us about yourself and your journey with Yahweh?

Hello to all the supporters of Guard Your Heart Ministries and Guard Your Heart Magazine readers! I honor Miss Jovenise for following the lead of the Holy Spirit to feature me in the May issue. In the Hebrew calendar (which God and His prophets still follow), May covers the month of Iyyar and the month of Sivan.

Iyyar means "glow and blossom" while Sivan is known as the "month of revelation." I claim that those who will read this article will glow, blossom, and receive their revelations from the Lord.

I call myself a "woman of wonder" (WOW) because God's wonders, amazements, and surprises in my life is a testament of His goodness as He transformed me from ashes to beauty. Truly He is a God that makes me go WOW because despite my background before being a Christian - I came from a family who was deep in the occult, the first born again Christian in the family, and 15 years of running away from God and my calling because of deep generational curses and sins of sexual immorality, addictions, occult, mental and emotional instability, I finally surrendered fully to the Lord last 2006 after receiving Jesus as my Lord and Savior last 1991. It was a battle for my soul since then and I am so happy that I now live victorious in Christ regardless of the battles I face or what the enemy throws my way.

What Bible Character(s) inspire you?

Queen Esther definitely tops my list. She did not only look beautiful but she had that inner beauty that made her stand out from the crowd and receive favor from King. I also look up to her intimacy with the King and her courage to face him just so many will be delivered.

I have always looked up to her in my faith walk. In fact, my Women of Wonder (WOW) ministry started from a Queen Esther Connect Group which I led in my home church.

When did you feel the Lord call you to ministry and how did you respond?

It Fast forward and perhaps approximately 100 onsite and online events for women after, I know that there's more to come from the Lord! My first offical ministry work full-time was as a Resource Development Manager at CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) Asia last 2014. After I resigned, I started working in my home church full time (until now) while I serve various ministries in the body of Christ on the side.

What is the mission and vision the Lord has given you for your ministry?

For our church mission and vision, it is simply REVIVAL as we walk in God's love and give it away to the Philippines and the world - this is under Church So Blessed International (my home church).

For my ministries in the body of Christ, our mission and vision is to move in the supernatural things of God - prophetic, healing, and deliverance (PHD) ministries, specifically in the marketplace and the 7 Mountains of Influence, with special emphasis to women.

What has been the biggest obstacle you’ve overcome in life and how have you used the experience to impact your ministry?

I think because I come from a family deep in occult and my grandmother was a self-confessed white witch (and proud of it!), when I turned 180-degrees away from this direction, all hell broke loose so my usual obstacle is the jezebel spirit trying to character assassinate me, dominate me, possess me, control me, or manipulate me - the list is endless but I think one of the worst experiences was when I felt I almost died because of the intensity of the spiritual attacks. This happened as I was writing my book and as you've read, it's not surprising why the enemy tried to steal, kill, and destroy me at that time.

When I surrendered fully to the Lord last 2006, little did I know that I had a calling to serve Him full-time.

In 2007, I felt a strong leadership calling and in 2010, I saw an ad in a Christian magazine which I clipped in my journal because this ad showed a Christian women's conference and the Lord impressed in my heart that I will be doing the same thing in the future.

Tell us about your coaching ministry?

My coaching ministry happened through experience. I started "coaching" women last 2007 through small groups for women in a megachurch that I attended that time where I got leadership and discipleship trainings. From that time, I found myself always coaching women, especially in spiritual and soul matters so even if I did not have a formal "life coaching" certification, the experience was truly enough for me to launch the brand "CoachElla" amidst the pandemic - which was specifically geared to women.

What inspired you to write “Divine Reset“?

When I launched the brand "CoachElla", I ran a 7-day Reset Challenge with my best friend and as I was preparing for the challenge, I felt the Lord led me to write a book. I've been trying to write a book for a decade at that time but at that time it felt so real and I felt it was really God's perfect timing especially because the global pandemic in itself is a global divine reset and there's no perfect time to release it but at the time when the whole world is experiencing this global divine reset. Divine Reset was inspired by this verse from Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV): 18 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.

What has been the biggest obstacle you’ve overcome in writing this book?

Looking back, as I've mentioned earlier - it was the intense attack from jezebel spirit that I had to win the battle to stay alive despite the enemy wanting to steal, kill, and destroy. I also had financial obstacles at that time because I did not have my own publishing company and no funds so I had to fully trust that the Lord will provide and He did not disappoint - of course! Where there's a mission, there will always be provision!

In your book you mentioned three Rs: release, refocus and restart. For many Christians releasing their burdens to Christ is hard, especially when they feel they have disappointed Him. So what advice would you have for those running away from God because they feel guilty, in what ways can they release they burdens to Him and accept His love?

Just like what I shared in the book, they can simply do these three things: Confess, Repent and Renounce. Confess to the Lord that they have sinned and that they need help. Repent or take a 180-degree turn and change your mindset and lifestyle - pray a prayer of repentance to God and finally, renounce one by one those areas that you need to turn away from. It helps to do this with a trusted deliverance minister so the person will experience full freedom.

In what ways can Christians renewal their mind to refocus?

Refocusing is a decision to forget the former things and not dwell on the past anymore so that they can refocus on the new thing that God is doing. So without letting go or releasing the former things, it is always difficult to refocus on the new thing so the best way to renew their mind is to release first.

Romans 12:2 gives us very clear instructions as well: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will."

In your book, “Divine Reset” you listed five ways from the late Evangelist Billy Graham, on how to start a new season, what are some Bible verses a Christian can use to build their faith as they restart?

In the book, I quoted Luke 5:36-38 (NASB): “No one tears a piece of cloth from a new garment and puts it on an old garment; otherwise he will both tear the new, and the piece from the new will not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled out, and the skins will be ruined. But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins.”

In the book “Divine Reset,” you talk about clarity and give five reasons clarity is important, please elaborate on those five reasons.

Oh I got this from Inspirational Speaker Neel Raman: 1. Clarity gives you direction - for me this is aligned with Isaiah 43:19: "I am making a way in the wilderness" - God's direction becomes clearer after we release and refocus.

We can restart in the new direction and the new way from the Lord.

2. Clarity eliminates distractions. - for me this is still aligned with verse 19 "and streams in the wasteland." distractions are our wasteland. When we have clarity, we eliminate our wastelands and we see the new streams because there are no more distractions.

4. Clarity makes it easier for others to support you. When we have clarity, we're able to communicate more clearly what we need or want, which gives us divine favor from people God will send to support us.

5. Clarity communicates what you stand for. - When our vision is blurry or unclear, we are unable to give clarity on what we believe in or what we stand for.

For those who believe in prophecy in what ways can they use the prophetic words they have received to reset their life and focus?

To those who are new to prophecy, these are simply words to encourage, comfort and strengthen you from the Lord through His people. "But one who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and comforts them." - 1 Corinthians 14:3.

Having said this, to those who are new to prophecy and those who believe in the prophetic ministry, you can use these words by simply walking in the words you've received. It helps to verbalize something like "I receive it" then walk in it, contend the prophetic words in prayer.

As you read my book, there are some words that will be highlighted to you. Make sure to write them down in your journal or if these are words from prophets or ministers, it is important to record them so you can listen to these prophetic words and contend in prayers.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

The second printing of my book will be out this month so if you haven't read Divine Reset, this is the perfect time to read it because it will be a better, more anointed, and more intense version of the original. The 90 day prayer for your spouse was full of wisdom and gems for us to look at and evaluate. It showed me the beauty in waiting and how God doesn’t leave us but prepares us for what he wants us to have.

Investing in Bank Certificates

Bank Certificates or CDs (certificate of deposit) is an investment method used to invest money for the purpose of growing that money. For the most part certificates of deposit are a safe way to invest your money because no matter what happens with the economy, as long as the bank you deposited your money in, does not go out of business you know you are going to get in increase on your initial deposit.

There are some key words to know before you invest in a CD. These words are APY or Annual Percentage Yield, dividend compound, divined period, dividend credit, withdrawals, renewable, term, minimum deposit and rate.

Term is the length of time the certificate of deposit will be opened. It can be 6 months and

last up to 60 months. It all depends on what you initially agreed with the bank upon opening the account. The minimum deposit is the initial amount you need to invest in order to open the certificate of deposit. This amount can be as low as $50. But, most of the time this means that this account will have a low APY or return for your initial investment.

APY is the percentage of interest that will be applied to the initial deposit each year. APY are also linked to rates. There are various rate types. Rates lets you know the consistency of the interest being applied to the account.
