I have always been intrigued and fascinated by mermaids and their mysticism and for this edition we were lucky to have Eric Ducharme and his brand Mertailor do special tails for our photo shoot. I am also proud to announce that this is our first edition to feature a woman as cover and editorial model, so I want to thank Eric and Mila Jones for the amazing work they did for and during the photo shoot. I would also like to thank Krystal Cancun, Dolphin Discovery, Garrafon Reef Park, Captain Hook and Xoximilco for helping us turn this dream into a reality.

Siempre me han intrigado y fascinado las sirenas y su misticismo y para esta edición tuvimos la suerte de tener a Eric Ducharme y su marca Mertailor hacer colas especiales para nuestra sesión de fotos. También estoy orgulloso de anunciar que esta es nuestra primera edición que presenta a una mujer como modelo de portada y editorial, así que quiero dar las gracias a Eric y Mila Jones por el increíble trabajo que hicieron para y durante la sesión de fotos. Same-sex marriage throughout Mexico Matrimonio igualitario en toda la República Mexicana Although same-sex marriage has not been accepted by the Civil Registration of most states in Mexico, it has been declared as unconstitutional to define “marriage” as the union between a man and a woman or that its main purpose is procreation. So now same-sex couples who want to marry are going to be able to do so citing the case law that has been established in recent days.

Aunque el matrimonio entre personas del mismo sexo no ha sido aceptado por el Registro Civil de la mayoría de estados de México, se ha declarado como inconstitucional que definan al matrimonio como la unión entre un hombre y una mujer o que su fin primordial sea la procreación. Así que las parejas del mismo sexo que deseen casarse podrán hacerlo amparándose en la tesis jurisprudencial que fue establecida.

However, being considered one a jurisprudential thesis it cannot invalidate state laws. Therefore, same-sex couples that wish to get married anywhere in the Mexican territory and are or have been denied the right to do so will have to turn to the courts individually and state their case; and given the jurisprudence, judges must approve the union.

A la vez, por ser considerada una tesis jurisprudencial no puede invalidar leyes estatales. Es decir que las parejas del mismo sexo que deseen contraer matrimonio en cualquier parte del territorio mexicano y que se les sea o haya sido negado tendrán que ir directamente a los tribunales a tratar su caso de manera individual y, dada la jurisprudencia establecida, los jueces tendrán que aprobar el matrimonio igualitario.

This news comes the same month that the United States became the latest country to legalize same-sex marriage nationwide. It is also important to mention that the National Human Rights Commission (CNDH for the acronym in Spanish) encourages states to legalize marriage between same-sex couples as Mexico should be in line with other developed countries that have already taken the same initiative.

Esta noticia llega el mismo mes que Estados Unidos se convierte en el más reciente país en legalizar los matrimonios igualitarios a nivel nacional. También es importante mencionar que la Comisión Nacional de los Derechos Humanos (CNDH) exhorta a los estados a legalizar el matrimonio entre parejas del mismo sexo ya que México debe estar en sintonía internacionalmente con otros países desarrollados que ya han legalizado el matrimonio igualitario.

However there is a dilemma when it comes to this and many other tourist destinations and it’s that there are people who still believe that for a hotel to be LGBT-friendly it has to be adults-only. What they have not taken into account is the number of families that exist within the LGBT community, either by being a same-sex couple who travels with their children or entire families in which at least one member is lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or other.

Sin embargo hay una disyuntiva que pasa aquí como en muchos destinos enfocados al turismo y es que existen personas que todavía consideran que para que un hotel sea LGBT-friendly debe de ser un hotel sólo para adultos. Lo que no han tomado en cuenta es la cantidad de familias que existen dentro de la comunidad LGBT, ya sea por ser una pareja del mismo sexo que viaja con sus hijos o familias enteras en las que por lo menos uno de sus miembros es lesbiana, gay, bisexual, transexual u otro.

The most important thing is what these families have in common with others and that is absolutely everything. There is no established difference because when you travel with your family the main purpose is for everyone to have fun and enjoy all the comforts of the hotel. Fortunately there are hotels in Cancun like Hard Rock Hotel, Krystal Cancun and Krystal Grand which, despite being family hotels, are completely welcoming to all kinds of segment, community or human being.

Lo más importante es lo que tienen en común estas familias con otras y eso es absolutamente todo. Pozole, representative dish of the Pre-Hispanic Aztec civilization El Pozole, platillo representativo de la civilización azteca precolombina

Pozole is one of the most representative dishes from Mexico and consists of a stew or soup prepared with corn kernels known as "cacahuazintle". The peculiarity of these grains is that they are pre-cooked with a mixture of water and calcium hydroxide to lose the peel, and are later washed and cooked again until they explode like popcorn. Later pork or chicken is added to the stew to pick up its flavor and served with the ingredients of each person’s choice, like toast, pork rinds, lettuce, onion, avocado, radish and more. Pozole has pre-Hispanic origin and there are many theories regarding how it was prepared. One theory is that it used to contain meat from an animal bred by the indigenous for food called “tepezcuintle”, while a more violent theory states that it was prepared with human flesh and only the senior priests and Emperor of pre-Columbian Aztec cities could eat the soup. Because the corn was a sacred plant to the Aztecs, the pozole was consumed only on special occasions. There are different variations of this dish in many states of Mexico and they are characterized by their color, which depends on the seasoning and the moment it is added; so the pozole can be white, green or red, as the Mexican flag. White pozole consists only of the stew and meat and the seasonings are added later to the taste of each person, while green or red pozoles adopt this color because they are seasoned at the time of cooking.

El pozole es uno de los platillos más representativos de México y consiste de un caldo o sopa que se prepara a base de granos de maíz conocidos como “cacahuazintle”. Lo peculiar de estos granos es que son precocidos con una mezcla de agua e hidróxido de calcio para que pierdan la cáscara, se lavan y se vuelven a cocer hasta que estallen como palomitas de maíz. Posteriormente se agrega carne de cerdo o pollo al caldo para que adquiera su gusto y se sirve con los ingredientes de elección de cada persona, como tostadas, chicharrones, lechuga, cebolla, aguacate, rábano y más. El pozole tiene origen prehispánico y existen muchas teorías en relación a la forma que se preparaba. Una de ellas es que contenía carne de un animal que los indígenas criaban para fuente de alimento llamado tepezcuintle, mientras que una teoría más violenta expone que se preparaba a base de carne humana y sólo lo podían comer los sacerdotes de más alto rango y el emperador de las ciudades aztecas precolombinas. Debido a que el maíz era una planta sagrada para los aztecas, el pozole se consumía sólo en ocasiones especiales. Existen diferentes variaciones de este platillo en muchos estados de México y se caracterizan por su color, que depende del condimento y el momento en el que se le agregue; por lo que el pozole puede ser blanco, verde o rojo, como la bandera mexicana. El pozole blanco consta solamente del caldo y la carne y los condimentos se le agregan al gusto de cada persona, mientras que los verdes o rojos adoptan este color porque son sazonados en el momento de cocción.

On April we had the pleasure to do the photo shoot for this edition of Gay Traveler's Guide in Isla Mujeres with the participation of the designer and plastic artist Eric Ducharme and model Mila Jones. This issue of GTGuide is the first to feature a woman as the cover and editorial model and it follows the theme and concept of concept of mermaids in the abyss. To this day it is the biggest production we've done and we had the pleasure of using Eric’s designs made for his brand Mertailor, with which he has created mermaid and other marine species’ tails for music videos, world-class events and highly renowned magazines. We took the opportunity during his visit to ask Eric a couple of questions about his influences, work and aspirations in life.

En abril tuvimos el gusto de realizar la sesión de fotos de esta edición de Gay Traveler's Guide en Isla Mujeres con la participación del diseñador y artista plástico Eric Ducharme y la modelo Mila Jones. Esta edición de GTGuide es la primera en incluir una mujer como la modelo de portada y editorial y sigue una temática y concepto de sirenas en el abismo. Hasta el día es la producción más elaborada que hemos realizado y tuvimos el placer de contar con los diseños de Eric y su marca Mertailor, con la cual ha creado colas de sirenas y otras especies marinas para vídeos musicales, eventos de talla mundial y revistas de alto renombre. Aprovechamos la visita de Eric para hacerle un par de preguntas sobre sus influencias, trabajo y aspiraciones en la vida.

At what age and how did your interest in mermaids start? E: My love for mermaids and the underwater world developed when I was at the young age of 5. I saw my first mermaid at that age and from that very moment in time I knew mermaids were going to have a huge impact in my future. When did you decide to take such an interesting hobby/passion and turn it into a business? E: As I was always producing mermaid tails - merman tails in my case - for myself, it eventually grew into the business. If I was able to produce these tails for myself, why not make them for others?

¿A qué edad y cómo comenzó tu interés por las sirenas? E: Mi amor por las sirenas y el mundo submarino empezó a la temprana edad de 5 años. Vi una sirena por primera vez a esa edad y a partir de ese momento supe que las sirenas tendrían un gran impacto en mi futuro. ¿En qué momento decidiste tomar un interés y convertirlo en un negocio? E: Como ya estaba produciendo colas de sirena – colas de sireno en mi caso – eventualmente se convirtió en un negocio. Si era capaz de producir estas colas para mí mismo, ¿por qué no hacerlas para otros?

33 What changes have you seen in your life and in your business as a result of the TV shows and media in which your work has been featured? E: The most amazing experiences and happenings have come into my life and the business since Mertailor has been seen on television and other media outlets. The amount of growth that we have experienced in such a short period of time has been a blessing! Is there any way that you have considered or consider linking aspects or themes related to the LGBT community to Mertailor and its products? E: As a gay man myself, I am very much interested in trying to be more active in the LGBT community. I am currently in the midst of finishing the development of our swimwear line for men, which I believe is going to flourish in the LGBT community.

¿Qué cambios has visto en tu vida y en tu negocio a raíz de los programas y medios en los que ha aparecido tu trabajo? E: Las experiencias y acontecimientos más sorprendentes que hemos tenido el negocio y yo sucedieron a raíz que Mertailor ha aparecido en la televisión y otros medios. ¡El crecimiento que hemos experimentado en un período de tiempo tan corto ha sido toda una bendición! ¿Hay alguna forma que hayas considerado o consideres vincular temas de la comunidad LGBT a la marca Mertailor y sus productos? E: Por ser gay estoy muy interesado en ser más activo entre la comunidad LGBT. Actualmente estoy en a punto de terminar de desarrollar nuestra línea de trajes de baño para hombres, que creo que va a ser un éxito con la comunidad LGBT.

What did you think of Cancun and Riviera Maya? And, what excites you the most about this kind of experience? E: Cancun and the Riviera Maya was truly an amazing experience for me and it could have not come around at any better time. I loved all of the beautiful islands and culture that I experienced during my visit. Not only did I learn a lot about the various areas in Mexico, I experienced what I believe to be a new beginning or awakening.

¿Cuál fue tu impresión de Cancún y Riviera Maya? Y, ¿Qué es lo que más te emociona de este tipo de experiencia? Día de Muertos (or Day of the Dead) is a celebration that takes place in Mexico since preColumbian times with the intention of honoring the loved ones who have died. It takes place on November 2nd to honor the adults who have perished and November 1st (generally referred to as Día de los Angelitos, or Day of the Little Angels) celebrates the children who died too early. This celebration is of great importance in Mexico and has been declared Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. As part of the tradition, on this day many people visit their loved ones in the cemetery and create altars with flowers, gifts and food and objects that were their favorite when they were still alive. The reason for creating these altars is to help guide the person who died to the time and space where he or she belongs and support their families and friends to find relief in the loss and mourning that they’re going through.

Día de Muertos has its origin in pre-Columbian times, when it was held in early August for a whole month and the festivities were dedicated to children and relatives who were deceased and presided by the goddess Mictecacíhuatl, which was also known as the "Lady of death ". Nowadays she is associated with “La Catrina,” figure created by illustrator and caricaturist José Guadalupe Posada whose name is derived from a work by Diego Rivera. With the arrival of the Spaniards the festivity was adapted to coincide with two Christian holidays, All Souls’ Day and All Saints’ Day, and the date changed from August to November. The altars were also subject to the influence of the Spanish, since items such as candles, bread of the dead, sugar skulls, incense, confetti and portraits of the deceased were incorporated.

El día de muertos es una celebración que se lleva a cabo en México desde épocas precolombinas con la intención de honrar a los seres queridos que han fallecido. Se celebra el día 2 de noviembre honrando a los adultos que han perecido y el 1 de noviembre a los niños que murieron precozmente (generalmente conocido como Día de los Angelitos). Esta celebración es de gran importancia en México y ha sido declarado Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Como parte de la tradición de este día muchas personas visitan a los difuntos en el panteón y crean altares con flores, regalos y los alimentos y objetos que eran de su preferencia cuando seguían vivos. El motivo de estos altares es ayudar a encaminar a la persona que falleció hacia el tiempo y espacio que le corresponde y apoyar a los seres queridos que siguen vivos a encontrar alivio en la pérdida y el duelo por el que están pasando.

El día de muertos tiene orígenes desde la época precolombina, cuando se celebraba a inicios de agosto durante todo un mes y las festividades eran dedicadas a los niños y parientes que hacían fallecido y presididas por la diosa Mictecacíhuatl, que también era conocida como la “Dama de la Muerte”. Hoy en día es vinculada con La Catrina, figura creada por el ilustrador y caricaturista José Guadalupe Posada y bautizada por Diego Rivera. Con la llegada de los españoles la celebración se adaptó a dos festividades cristianas, Día de los Fieles Difuntos y Día de Todos los Santos, y la fecha cambió de agosto a noviembre. Los altares también fueron sujetos a la influencia de los españoles, ya que se incorporaron elementos como las veladoras, el pan de muertos, calaveritas de azúcar, inciensos, papel picado y retratos de los difuntos.

The beautiful island of Contoy is located where the Caribbean Sea the Gulf of Mexico, about 30 km south of Isla Mujeres. Isla Contoy has no inhabitants apart from the wildlife, and is only 8.5 km in length and has a surface area of 230 hectares. Only a few tour companies have permission to bring guests to the island and only 200 visitors are allowed each day as so as to cause minimal disturbance to the wildlife, so when you visit you can enjoy true tranquility and nature at its finest. The island of Contoy is home to hundreds of different species of fish and types of birds. Because the island is free of predators, its environment provides the ideal setting for the reproduction of these beautiful birds. Contoy is also home to Boca Iglesia, a community of only 26 inhabitants, only accessible via seaport.

It is important to consider the weather and the distances to go from one place to another, especially if you come for a few days; which is why I am suggesting a weekend with the ideal activities and places for you to make the most out of this magnificent destination. Thursday For your first day I recommend an experience in which you’ll be surrounded by art, beginning in Polanco. Here you can visit the Soulmaya Museum, a place with a very innovative interior and exterior design that offers its visitors a themed tour of six rooms filled with art and history. Take the opportunity to stroll through the malls and shopping centers in Polanco and be sure to eat at one of the excellent Mediterranean food restaurants in the area. Before night falls go to Centro Cultural del Bosque, a venue with five theaters with various stage proposals and plays that you can enjoy for $30 pesos per person every Thursday. In this area you will also find the Bistro del Bosque, a cozy restaurant that you just can’t miss. Friday Venture into the alternative and let’s take a walk on La Roma, a neighborhood with large median strips, perfect for walking and enjoying the architecture of this area. Don’t forget to take photos next to the Rio de Janeiro building, the Fuente de la Cibeles, Casa Lamm, among others. When you get to Chiapas Street go into the Hazme el Milagrito gallery, where you will find pieces of LGBT art of various artists. Saturday To make the most out of the weekend I recommend a walk down Paseo de la Reforma, one of the main avenues if you want to get to know the essence of this city and its history through the statues of historical figures, majestic fountains, towers, buildings and emblematic monuments as the Angel of Independence and the Estela de Luz. If you walk along the avenue you will pass by the Bosque de Chapultepec, make a mandatory stop to visit the Zona Rosa and travel all the way to the Centro Histórico (Historic Center) until you reach the Palacio de Bellas Artes (Palace of Fine Arts), the most important cultural center in Mexico. A few blocks away you’ll find the Torre Latinoamericana skyscraper, so don’t forget to visit the Mirador Latino, from where you can see the whole city. During this tour you will be mesmerized by the culture of this beautiful city and you will find a place to eat or drink something refreshing every five steps you take. To end the day on a high note go to Salon Marrakech, a nightspot full of folklore and color where you can dance the night away. Sunday Viva Mexico! Before you leave you can’t skip the mandatory visit to Coyoacan, where you willl find the Mercado Portales, excellent place to have breakfast, and the Mercado de Artesanías (Crafts Market), the perfect choice to buy crafts typical of the region. To bring a fabulous close to your weekend visit the Frida Kahlo Museum. Inside the blue house you will find not just paintings of the artist, but also items that were witness to the everyday life of this great Mexican painter. All this and more will make your next visit to Mexico City a memorable experience from start to finish.

Si recorres toda la avenida atravesarás a un costado el Bosque de Chapultepec, además de tomar obligados desvíos para conocer la Zona Rosa y terminar en el Centro Histórico hasta llegar al Palacio de Bellas Artes, el centro y monumento artístico más importante de México. A unas cuantas cuadras esta el Rascacielos Torre Latinoamericana así que no dejes de visitar el Mirador Latino, donde podrás observar toda la ciudad. En este recorrido te empaparás de la cultura de esta hermosa ciudad y no faltará que a cada 5 pasos encuentres un lugar donde comer o beber algo refrescante. Sometimes we wish to blend in with the regular crowd simply to enjoy experiences like a real local, others want to take precautions to avoid becoming victims of deception or, even worse, the crime you find in any city. Sometimes it’s difficult to hide an unusual accent, but to know the customs of the place you’re visiting doesn’t have to be. Therefore, here are some tips if you don’t want to come out as a tourist in Mexico City (and other big cities nearby). When we interact with someone for a long period of time or want to talk to someone in a bar or a club, it’s safer to just shake hands. Hugs between men or women are circumstantial: they’re usually short when there’s some trust and a little longer when it’s someone you know well, regardless of gender or orientation. Eye contact with strangers with whom there is no interaction should be avoided. This contact is used when we want something specific from the other person (such as calling the attention of a waiter or store clerk). Smiles when greeting strangers are not frowned upon but are usually brief and discreet. As for nightlife, there are many options throughout the city for all tastes and budgets. Chilangos (people from Mexico City) are often unwary drivers, so it’s best to use public transportation to get to these places, and when you want to go back, use a safe taxi service. Ask for the number in the hotel, have in mind that taxis usually charge by distance but it’s best to ask for an estimate of how much it is to a specific destination before entering the vehicle, and opt for the big streets that, although usually have more traffic, are safer for tourists who don’t know the city.

The locals are very diverse in the way they dress, and even more the LGBT’s. Lesbians are generally discrete and wear jeans, tennis shoes and plaid shirts or t-shirts, although many enjoy tight and flattering dresses and makeup to go dancing. Gay men express their individuality in different ways depending on what we want to project. Overall a gay man who wants to look good usually wears jeans and a T-shirt, a shirt with the sleeves up or a polo shirt and sunglasses during the day and outdoors. However, a more “trashy” look can include bright colors and prints, caps and tank tops. It’s best to observe what the locals use in the trendiest areas such as La Condesa (hipster) or Masaryk (chic) and go shopping for something specific. A muchos nos gusta viajar, pero pocos deseamos gritarle al mundo que somos turistas. A veces deseamos mimetizarnos con la masa local simplemente para vivir experiencias como lo hace un habitante común y corriente, otras deseamos tomar precauciones para no ser víctimas de engaños o, peor aún, del crimen que hay en cualquier parte. En ocasiones resulta difícil ocultar un acento poco usual, pero conocer las costumbres del lugar que visitamos no tiene por qué serlo. Por tanto, estas son algunas recomendaciones para no delatarnos como turistas en la capital mexicana (y de hecho en muchos lugares del centro del país). Cuando vamos a interactuar con alguien por un periodo prolongado o deseamos conversar con alguien en un bar o un club, lo más seguro es simplemente dar la mano. Los abrazos tanto entre hombres y mujeres son circunstanciales: suelen ser cortos cuando hay un poco de confianza, y un poco más prolongados cuando las personas son cercanas, sin importar el sexo o la orientación. El contacto visual con desconocidos con los cuales no hay interacción debe ser evitado. Este contacto se usa cuando deseamos algo específico de la otra persona (como llamar la atención de un mesero o del dependiente de una tienda). Las sonrisas cuando se saluda a extraños no son mal vistas pero suelen ser breves y discretas. En cuanto a la vida nocturna, hay muchas opciones por toda la ciudad y para todos los gustos y bolsillos. Los chilangos (capitalinos) suelen ser conductores poco precavidos, por tanto es mejor usar el transporte público para llegar a estos lugares, y para regresar, un sitio de taxis seguro (el número se puede pedir en el hotel, y los taxis suelen cobrar por distancia, pero es mejor preguntar un aproximado de lo que se

cobraría para llegar a un destino específico antes de ingresar en el vehículo, así como optar por las grandes avenidas que, aunque suelen tener más tráfico, son más seguras para un turista que no conoce la ciudad). Para vestir los defeños son muy diversos, y los LGBTs más. Las lesbianas en general son discretas y usan jeans, tenis y camisas de cuadros o playeras, aunque hay algunas que disfrutan mucho los vestidos coquetos y ajustados y el maquillaje para ir a bailar. Los gays expresan su individualidad de diversas formas dependiendo de lo que quieran proyectar. En general un gay que quiere verse bien suele usar jeans y una playera, una camisa con las mangas arriba o una polo y lentes oscuros durante el día en lugares abiertos. Sin embargo, un look más trashy puede incluir colores y estampados brillantes, gorras y tank tops. Lo mejor es observar lo que usan los locales en las zonas más trendy como La Condesa (hipster) o Masaryk (chic) e ir de compras por algo específico. La Ciudad de México nos espera a todos con muchas opciones divertidas, así que los esperamos pronto. ¡No se van a arrepentir!

That childish curiosity to delve into the unknown is what keeps and defines him as one of the most talented designers of his generation.

Hector de la Peña had no reason to study fashion, nor had he an epiphany or was a child prodigy who one day took a sewing machine and – voilà! – his first garment was perfectly confectioned. No, that was not the case. What really happened, at the start, was that he studied graphic design and, in the way, he found an ease to create and design. It wasn’t something he was looking for, things just came along. His true vocation had just found him and it was about to change his life. It was a friend’s mother who encouraged him to start taking some courses during the weekends. The last thing you want is to leave graphic design completely, to give it a try and realize it's not your thing, but for Hector it was the opposite. The path was clear from him and his desire to explore was greater each day. The work of this Tapatío, who now resides in Mexico City, is in constant evolution; however, his style continues to define Hector as a creative born designer with unique essence and style.

Always faithful to his creative process, Hector constantly seeks to surprise by experimenting with shapes, patterns, silhouettes, textures and the surprise factor, that element that amazes in a magical way. His projects, besides presenting as a result perfectly designed and confectioned apparel, display garments considered part of the artobject movement, are unconventional and provocative, and tell a story, the most beautiful trait for the eternal dreamers. All these elements are part of Hector’s work and help him remain faithful to his creative process, concept and, overall, himself. Indeed, I think Hector de la Peña didn’t have a reason to study fashion or will ever need one, because when you love what you do, you don’t need a reason.

Héctor de la Peña no tuvo una razón para estudiar moda, tampoco tuvo una epifanía mariana, ni siquiera fue un niño prodigio que un día tomo una máquina de coser y ¡vualá! su primera prenda estaba confeccionada. No, ese no fue su caso. Lo que sí fue su caso, por un comienzo, fue estudiar diseño gráfico y en el camino se encontró con la facilidad de crear y diseñar. No era algo que él estuviera buscando, simplemente las cosas se dieron. Su verdadera vocación lo acababa de encontrar y estaba a punto de cambiar su vida. Fue la mamá de una amiga quien lo alentó a empezar con algunos cursos los fines de semana. Lo que menos quieres es dejar el diseño gráfico por completo, sólo probar y darte cuenta que no es lo tuyo, pero para Héctor fue todo lo contrario. El camino se veía más claro y su deseo de explorar era cada vez más grande. Esa curiosidad infantil de adentrarse a lo desconocido es lo que lo mantiene y define como uno de los diseñadores más talentosos de su generación.

El trabajo de este tapatío, que ahora radica en la ciudad de México, se muestra en constante evolución; sin embargo, su estilo permanece definiendo a Héctor como un diseñador nato, creativo, con esencia y estilo único. Siempre fiel a su proceso de creación, Héctor busca constantemente sorprender con la experimentación en formas, patrones, siluetas, texturas y el factor sorpresa, ese elemento que sorprende de manera mágica. Sus proyectos, más allá de presentar el resultado de prendas diseñadas y perfectamente confeccionadas, nos muestran prendas que caen en la denominación arte-objeto, fuera de lo convencional, provocadoras y, lo más hermoso para los eternos soñadores, cuentan una historia. Todos estos elementos acompañan a Héctor y lo ayudan a mantenerse siempre fiel a su proceso creativo, concepto y sobre todo, a sí mismo. Sí, creo que Héctor de la Peña no tuvo ni tendrá una razón para estudiar moda, porque cuando amas lo que haces, no necesitas razones.

The androgyny of the brave game of silhouettes, textures and symmetrical and asymmetrical cuts are confirmed in this season.
