After receiving promotional materials, counseling, and objective testing provided by Health Services about COVID-19:
• Students increased their understanding by 30% that the mRNA (COVID) vaccine does not contain a live virus.
• Students increased their understanding by 4% that the Covid-19 vaccine does not affect fertility.
• Students increased their understanding by 8% that they will not test positive on a viral Covid-19 test after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine.
• Students increased their understanding by 7% that they need to be vaccinated even after recovering from Covid-19.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Student leaders demonstrated mastery level of problem solving skills while serving in their volunteer student leadership position in the current academic year.
Students in the University Programming Board increased knowledge between the pre and post test and were able to identify the steps to plan and execute a successful event. Students in the University Programming Board showed increased growth in understanding potential risks but lacked knowledge about mitigation of risks. Students showed the ability to not
only resolve problems and daily incidents, and also displayed the understanding and application taught during the Student Union Facility Manager in Training program. Students going through the student conduct process identified that they are responsible for their decisions and should think about them first before taking action.
