Parents are encouraged to give students who are 17 years or older guidance on viewing R-rated movies on their personal computers, in television lounges, or at local theaters, as well as the use of M-rated video games on their personal computers. THE VIEWING OF X AND AO RATED VIDEO MATERIAL IS PROHIBITED. In addition, GSSM recognizes the potential for a student to play video games excessively, to the detriment of the student’s academic standing and good health through loss of study time, exercise, and sleep. Parents are encouraged to keep video game consoles at home, and to prohibit students from loading games onto their personal computers. GSSM does not disallow video games; we will encourage students to monitor themselves and others to support healthy, limited use of these leisure activities.
P. Employment Due to the rigorous curriculum, students may not hold full or part-time jobs while attending GSSM.
