Lecture by Wexford Farmer Jer O'Mahony – Monday, October 14

The Honors College is excited to announce an upcoming lecture by our Wexford, Ireland partner, Jer O'Mahony. We invite all faculty, alumni, students, and anyone interested in learning more about the Wexford Study Abroad program.

  • Lecture Title: “Resilient Roots: Tackling Climate Change, Mental Health, and Sustainability in Irish Agriculture”

Jer O'Mahony, Chair of the Wexford County Irish Farmers Association, will explore critical issues such as navigating European Union policies, the recent wave of farmer protests that spread across Europe this spring, and the connections between climate change, mental health, and sustainability in Irish agriculture. His lecture will provide a powerful perspective on building resilience in these areas.
