We can see her onscreen starting January 24, starring alongside Vincenzo Salemme and Diego Abatantuono in the comedy film Compromessi Sposi by Francesco Miccichè, filming in Formia and Gaesta. What’s your educational background? My parents raised me in museums, cinemas and theatres. I studied as a classico high school and I simultaneously attended the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and university, where I graduated with a degree in Cinema History and Criticism. When did you realize you wanted to be an actress? My passion was inherent. My family always told me that as soon as I was born, I scratched my face because I was hungry, and the obstetrician had to immediately take me back to my mother so she could feed me, a sure sign of my gift for acting. Even as a child I had a very clear idea about what I wanted to be when I grew up. Which role put you on the map? That would definitely be the role of Stefania Masetti in the television series I Cesaroni, which I played from 2005 to 2013 and thanks to which I even won the award for Best Actress at the Roma Fiction Festival in 2007. What are some of your theatre projects? The first performance I brought to the stage was Inutilmentesfiga, followed by Liberi Tutti in 2016, which was staged at the Piccolo Eliseo, both written with Natascia Di Vito. What are your passions? I’ve always loved culture, fashion, photography, design, interior design, art, architecture and beauty in general. I’ve always travelled a lot and enthusiastically followed cultural events tied to the countries I’ve visited. I also speak both English and French fluently. Three adjectives that describe you? Tough, dreamer and honest.
Elda Alvigini è un’attrice, autrice e regista romana. Volto noto del cinema e del teatro, la vedremo dal 24 gennaio nelle sale cinematografiche nella commedia Compromessi Sposi il film di Francesco Miccichè che la sta impegnando tra Formia e Gaeta, nel ruolo di protagonista accanto a Vincenzo Salemme e Diego Abatantuono. Che formazione ha avuto? I miei genitori mi hanno cresciuto all’interno di musei, cinema e teatri. Ho fatto il liceo classico, ed ho studiato contemporaneamente al Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia e all’università, dove mi sono laureata in Storia e critica del cinema. Quando ha capito che volevi fare l’attrice? La mia passione è stata una cosa innata. L’aneddoto di famiglia che mi hanno sempre raccontato i miei genitori era che, appena sono nata, mi graffiavo la faccia per la fame, tanto che l’ostetrica mi ha subito dovuta riportare a mia mamma, per farmi allattare, già prevedendo le mie doti da attrice. Scherzi a parte, ho sempre avuto, fin da piccola le idee molto chiare su cosa voleva fare da grande. Qual è il ruolo che le ha dato più notorietà? Sicuramente il ruolo di Stefania Masetti nella serie televisiva I Cesaroni che ho interpretato dal 2005 al 2013 e grazie alla quale ho anche vinto il premio come miglior attrice al Roma Fiction Festival, nel 2007. Anche autrice e regista, quali sono stati i suoi lavori al teatro? Il primo spettacolo che ho portato in scena è stato Inutilmentesfiga e, nel 2016 Liberi Tutti, andato in scena al Piccolo Eliseo, scritti entrambi con Natascia Di Vito. Le sue passioni? Sono da sempre innamorata della cultura, della moda, della fotografia, del design, dell’arredamento, dell’arte, dell’architettura e del bello in generale. Ho sempre viaggiato molto e seguito con interesse gli eventi culturali legati ai paesi che ho visitato. Parlo molto bene sia l’inglese che il francese. Tre aggettivi che la descrivono?
