imprevisto e di sorprendente, non è figlio di una facoltà mentale misteriosa che si attiva di getto o a comando. La visione romantica che associava alla creatività umana e al genio artistico il mistero per eccellenza, una scintilla quasi-divina oltre ogni spiegazione, non esiste in questi termini. Nella realtà il motore che spinge in avanti non è una passeggiata nei boschi ma la fusione tra l’immaginazione, la mentalità, il fare applicandosi e una buona dose di sacrificio e di ostinazione. Ma se da una parte questo orientamento mentale viene visto come requisito fondamentale per aprire nuove strade, dall’altra le teste diverse che entrano a far parte di gruppi di lavoro consolidati, potrebbero confrontarsi con capi dal pensiero univoco e con capetti poco inclini al pensare. Tuttavia in ambienti indirizzati al futuro, è essenziale trovare risorse umane che facilitino il flusso di ispirazioni, idee e di mindstyle, cioè creatività e interpretazione personale che convergono in una
architettura di pensiero. Arte, mestiere e visione che affluiscono in un percorso del fare con eccellenza e della condivisione attraverso la rete. In questo senso la potenza del Web è smisurata soprattutto quando si vuole fare rete attorno a un concetto forte abbinato a un pensare giusto. Assisteremo a una dominanza del mindstyle inteso come pensare con stile prima di agire, a discapito del lifestyle inteso come stile di vita ordinato per categorie di stili e di consumo. In questa prospettiva il pensiero privo di modo di pensare perde la sua forza e attrazione, palesando un’attitudine innata e spontanea nelle donne rispetto agli uomini, più inclini ad essere pensatori e pensierosi. La ri-definizione del myndstyle creerà nuovi spazi di sensibilità personale e collettiva come antidoto alla crescente crisi culturale, economica e sociale. Ma attenzione il mindstyle è una sfida quotidiana. Perché sia vincente bisogna saper usare molto bene entrambi: pensiero e modo di pensare!

The romantic vision that once associated human creativity and artistic genius with a mysterious force par excellence—a quasi divine spark that lies beyond any explanation— does not exist in these terms. In reality, the driving force behind this process is not a stroll in the woods, but the fusion of imagination, mentality and applied ability, in addition to a good dose of sacrifice and tenacity. If on the one hand, this mind-set is seen as a fundamental requisite for forging new roads, on the other, it could also engender a situation where ‘different brains’ are forced to become part of consolidated work groups which then must face a boss who has an univocal mindset or come into contact with lesser bosses who are not inclined to think. Nonetheless, in settings that look toward the future, it’s essential to uncover the human resources that facilitate the flow of inspiration, ideas and mind-styles, that is, creativity and personal interpretation as they converge into a unique architectural structure:
thought. Art, trades and vision come together in a practical journey that’s inspired by excellence and founded on web-sharing. In this sense, the power of the web is beyond measure, especially, when one aims to ‘create a network’ centered on a strong concept, upheld by a correct thought process. We will witness the dominance of ‘mind-style’. This term can be defined as ‘thinking with style before acting’, to the detriment of ‘lifestyle’, a way of life that’s organized into categories linked to style and consumption. From this point of view, thought without a proper way of thinking loses its power and attraction, revealing the innate and spontaneous aptitudes of women compared to men who are more inclined to be thoughtful or ‘thinkers’. The re-definition of mind-style will create new highly sensitive settings, either personal or collective, that serve as an anecdote to our growing cultural, economic and social crisis.
