For snow lovers it is a cult destination - ski slopes, winter sports and even a pleasant retreat for those who want to enjoy a weekend away from the city, surrounded by nature. But Cortina is also one of the chicest places in Italy and a mecca for high-end shopping - in winter, between one piste and another, in summer in addition to a walk in the Dolomites or a relaxing day. Cortina is not only the Queen of the Dolomites, but also a deluxe shopping destination thanks to Franz Kraler and many other initiatives scheduled for Cortina Fashion Weekend, an opportunity for numerous glamorous events, including vernissages, previews, encounters, special openings, cocktail parties and DJ sets, held every year during the Feast of St. Ambrose long weekend. After all, class and style have been the norm in Cortina since the early 1900s, when Habsburg sober pomp made room for the glossy worldliness of the time which seduced artists and prominent figures, from Hemingway to the Savoia family, then in the 50s, and also later, when it gave way to the well-groomed glamour of the 80s. But despite the passing of decades and fashions, Cortina has always managed to remain itself. To have an idea, it’s enough to walk down Corso Italia,
