CONFLUENCIAS EN EL ENTORNO MEDITERRÁNEO” El objetivo principal de esta exposición es el de presentar las producciones cerámicas de las culturas más antiguas del entorno mediterráneo haciendo hincapié en las influencias tipológicas y ornamentales, en los avances tecnológicos y en el intercambio de ideas que en él se produjeron. “MUSEO DE MONTSERRAT, EL GRAN DESCONOCIDO” El Museo de Montserrat (MDM) es un gran desconocido. En octubre de 2006, el Gobierno de la Generalitat lo declaró de interés nacional, “debido al interés cultural innegable”. El MDM acoge varias colecciones que abarcan los campos de la Arqueología del Oriente Bíblico, la Orfebrería, la Iconografía de la Virgen de Montserrat, Iconos bizantinos y eslavos, la Pintura Antigua y la Pintura y Escultura modernas, con autores tan relevantes como Caravaggio, Monet, Sisley, Degas, Picasso, Dalí, Rusiñol, Casas, Mir y Nonell, entre otros. “MUSEO DE MONTSERRAT, THE GREAT UNKNOWN” The Museum of Montserrat (MDM) is a great unknown. In October 2006, the Catalan Government declared it of national interest, “due to its undeniable cultural interest”. The MDM is home to several collections that cover fields as diverse as the Archaeology of the Biblical Orient, Goldsmithing, the Iconography of the Virgin of Montserrat, Byzantine Icons and Slaves, Ancient Painting and Modern Painting and Sculpture, with major artists including Caravaggio, Monet, Sisley, Degas, Picasso, Dalí, Rusiñol, Casas, Mir and Nonell, among others. MUSEU DE MONTSERRAT El Museo está formado por cinco colecciones diferentes. Los objetos expuestos, más de 1.300 piezas, abarcan un período cronológico muy amplio.
