A. in English and will be certified in Dramatic Art. She has been working on the layout of the Colonnade trying to improve the looks of the magazine. The year coming should hold great changes in construction with Donna and Kaye working together on the Colonnade. The new editor of the Virginian will be Mary Ann Hanken. Mary Ann, a Junior from Richmond, is majoring in Elementary Education and History and Social Science. She is a member of Phi Mu social social sorority and the Student Education Association. She served as the narrator of the Chlrstmas Pageant this past year. The Virginian stafl will be chosen next week. Mary Ann is planning to attend a Yearbook

Barbara Melton, a Junior English major from Norfolk, has been elected to serve as editorin-chief of The Rotunda. Although she had never worked on a newspaper before, she served as a reporter during her sophomore year. At the end of the year, she was awarded a certificate for being outstanding upperclassman staff member of the year. This past year Barbara worked as managing editor of The Rotunda. She was also selected for membership in Beorc Eh Thorn. In answer to a question COBcerning her aims as editor of the newspaper. Barbara replied, "Besides covering adequately all phases of campus activity.
