Wye River Beach Walk Enjoy the fresh sea air while you walk along the beach at Wye River to Point Sturt. Explore the rock pools, the stretches of sand and the remnants of two piers built in the early 1900s. This is also a great place to watch people fishing and to see local surfers out on their boards.

Grey River Picnic Area Soak up the tranquillity of the rainforest at the Grey River Picnic Area (6km up Grey River Road from Kennett River). Lose yourself amid the towering trees on the short rainforest walk from the bridge, or visit in the evening to see the enchanting glow worms come to life on the roadside embankments near the picnic area.

Grey River Beach Be invigorated by the raw energy of the rugged coastline at Grey River. Explore the small, private coves and interesting rock formations as you meander your way along the beach from the access stairs. The picnic area near the car park makes for a good lunch spot.

Carisbrook Falls Witness the pure waters of the Otways cascade down towards the sea at Carisbrook Falls. A short walk from the car park (15 minutes one way), the lookout is easy to access. On your return, follow the creek out to the rocky beach and continue your adventure.

Wye River Rock Pools Explore the
sights and sounds of the Wye River as you meander along its bank from the playground near the general store to the river crossing beyond the Big 4 Caravan Park. Spot native birds and wildlife on this short, easy walk (20 minutes one way). Note that dogs are not permitted.

Boggaley Creek Beach Sink your toes into the sand at Boggaley Creek beach, and take a dip in the crystal-clear rock pools at low tide (turn left on the beach from the access stairs). Pack a picnic and enjoy this private little paradise.

Godfrey Beach Godfrey Beach reveals the wreckage of the W.B. Godfrey. Visit at low tide to see the anchor, capstan and windlass peeking through the waves. The plaque and tomb site near the car park provide further information. This beach is also accessible from Artillery Rocks along the shoreline at low tide.

Pick a spot to park the car and set about exploring the many secluded beaches and rock pools of Wongarra. Unknown treasures await your discovery along this magnificent stretch of iconic Great Ocean Road coastline. This area is best explored at low tide.
Reconnect with nature on this self-guided walk along the banks of the Kennet River. Learn about local wildlife and history, and spot native birds and animals, including kangaroos in the early morning and at dusk. Beyond the nature walk, an informal track continues along the river (25 minutes one way).
