Grayhawk Neighborhood Park Tennis Court Improvements
The City of Scottsdale recently completed a renovation of the tennis courts at Grayhawk Neighborhood Park off of 76th St. The renovation included installing a post-tension concrete overlay which should minimize court cracking in the future. The City of Scottsdale typically completes a crack fill and resurfaces
the courts about every 12-18 months. The new concrete surface may have hairline cracks but will not need to be resurfaced for 5 to 7 years, depending on the amount of play and surface wear. Resurfacing will also take less time. The post tension concrete has approximately a 30 year life span.
